Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Opunake Domain

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act to form part of the Opunake Domain to be administered as a public domain by the domain board.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Manunui Town Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Town District of Manunui and revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Area for Operation of Motor Launches

Pursuant to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that, except for the first weekend in May (which is the usual opening of the game season), regulation 11 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply to jet boats operating on the area of water described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that area of water in the Kawarau River from its source to its confluence with the Arrow River.

Licensing the Wellington Speedboat Club (Inc.) to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Porirua Harbour at Onepoto as a Site for a Clubhouse and Jetty

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Wellington Speedboat Club (Inc.) (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Porirua Harbour at Onepoto, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11521 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a clubhouse and jetty, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1963.

3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).

Licensing Norman Joseph Liddicoat to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Flat Point as a Site for a Slipway

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Norman Joseph Liddicoat (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Flat Point, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11672 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a slipway, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Amending Licence Authorising the Manapouri-Doubtful Sound Tourist Co. Ltd. to Use and Occupy Parts of the Bed of Lake Manapouri and of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea in Doubtful Sound as Sites for 12 Jetties and Two Slipways

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 19 September 1962* authorising the Manapouri-Doubtful Sound Tourist Co. Ltd. to use and occupy parts of the bed of Lake Manapouri and of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Doubtful Sound as sites for 12 jetties and two slipways by cancelling so much thereof as relates to the three jetties in Doubtful Sound at Deep Cove, Lookout Point, and Halls Arm, as shown on plans marked M.D. 11344 and M.D. 9929, M.D. 11345 and M.D. 11346 respectively, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
