Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block V, Ahipara Survey District, for a Maori School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a Maori school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Kaitaia and is there open for inspection, and that every person affected by the taking of the land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Tauranga City District Scheme (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Tauranga City Council in the interests of the Tauranga City District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of May 1964 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of May 1964.

Declaration That Part of the Westport Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Westport Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for extension to swimming baths over the land described in the Schedule hereto and, further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Blenheim Borough Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

Secondly: Double Island, the approximate centre for which the map reference is 397882: Area, 85 acres, more or less.

As the same are more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1178 and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Taupo Domain

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act to form part of the Taupo Domain to be administered as a public domain by the domain board.
