Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Franklin and Borough of Papakura
It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Franklin and included in the Borough of Papakura. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Franklin County, containing 145 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, as shown on D.P. 4963, and proceeding southerly along the western side of State Highway No. 1 (Great South Road) to and westerly along the northern side of Park Estate Road, north-westerly along the north-eastern side of the proposed Auckland-Hamilton Motorway as shown on S.O. Plans 44245, 41077, and 41677, and easterly along the southern side of Beach Road to the intersection of the western boundary of the Borough of Papakura, at a point in line with the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, as shown on D.P. 30384; thence south-easterly generally along that borough boundary as described in Gazette, 1938, page 470, and Gazette, 1962, page 332, to the point of commencement.

Additions to Rules of the Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation Society
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby approves the following new rule made by the Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation Society as an addition to the rules of that Society.
23A: "That all meetings of the Council shall be open to members of the Society provided always that upon a vote of not less than three-quarters of those Council members present any matter upon the agenda for discussion may be taken in Committee."

Taieri High School—School Added to List for Election of Governors By School Committees
PURSUANT to clause 3 of the Order in Council* providing for the constitution of the Board of Governors for the Taieri High School, the Minister of Education hereby declares that Melville Park Public School shall be an additional school to which paragraph (g) of clause 2 of the aforesaid order applies.

Scheme of Control of Dannevirke High School
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Dannevirke High School, published in the Gazette of 2 June 1955, Volume II, page 886; and approves of Dannevirke High School being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961:*
Provided that clause 18 of the said standard scheme shall be read as if the words "every member shall hold office until the 31st day of May in the third year after the year of his election or appointment", were omitted, and the words "every member shall hold office until the 31st day of May in the year 1964, and every member elected or appointed in the year 1964 or later shall hold office until the 31st day of May in the third year after his election or appointment" were substituted therefore.

Land in the Nelson Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land
NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas situated in Blocks VI and X, Wakapuaka Survey District, Waimea County, containing 209 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, and described as follows:
Section 69, part Section 76, and Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 5701, being Sections 61 and 71, Square 23: Area, 165 acres and 10 perches. All certificates of title, Volume 144, folio 47; Volume 1B, folio 538; and Volume 17, folio 97.
Also parts Sections 36, 38, and 39, Square 23: Area, 44 acres and 2 roods, being all the land bordered red on the diagram endorsed on memorandum of transfer No. 89154.
As shown on plan No. 103/46 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Addition to Bylaws of Urewera National Park
PURSUANT to the National Parks Act 1952, a resolution was passed by the Urewera National Park Board resolving that a further bylaw be added to the bylaws already made for Urewera National Park as follows:
10A. EXCLUDING VEHICLES FROM SPECIFIED AREA
No person shall use or drive or ride, or cause or permit to be driven or ridden, or permit to be on any part of the timber access road through Urewera National Park from the Huiarau Saddle on State Highway 38 to the Maungapohatu Blocks, any vehicle that is drawn or propelled by mechanical means except where authorised by the Board.
The foregoing bylaw of the Urewera National Park Board was approved by the National Parks Authority on 14 November 1963.
