WAITOMO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
General Extension Loan 1962 of £50,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitomo Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Waitomo Electric Power District, and for such purposes to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the said Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of seven twenty-fifths of a penny (7/25d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Waitomo Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Loan 1962, £27,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of £27,000 to be known as the Housing Loan 1962 authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting thereon accommodation for aged persons, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-seven thousandths of a penny (0·057d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 28th day of January 1963.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Loan 1962, £150,000, Security Rate
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £150,000 authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing for the cost of constructing and laying of bituminous footpaths and carriageways and of kerbing and channelling within the city, including the cost of fixing permanent levels, regrading and resurfacing, labour, cartage, materials, plant and tools, preparation and advertising of plans, engineers’ fees, legal costs, purchase of land and compensation to the owners of property adversely affected by such works, supervision and other charges, and the costs of raising the loan, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and seventy-six thousandths of a penny (0·176d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 21st day of January 1963.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Black Creek (Wainuiomata) Widening Loan 1962, £20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of widening Black Creek, Wainuiomata, from Norfolk Street to Wainuiomata River in the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·35 of a penny (thirty-five one-hundredths of a penny) in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 55c Special Rating Area, being portion of the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Waipawa Borough Council Staff Housing Loan 1962
“THAT, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £3,500 authorised to be raised by the Waipawa Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing staff housing, the said Waipawa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅓rd of a penny in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Waipawa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 to be raised by the Te Puke Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of a new fire station, the said Te Puke Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·365d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Puke Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 28th day of February and the 28th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”
