“(3) That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £10,500 authorised to be raised by the Tawa
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Bridges
Loan 1953 which matured on 1 October 1963 and that
portion of the Bridges Loan 1953 which matures on 1 August
1964, the said Tawa Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of 0·157d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Tawa; and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st
day of December and the 1st day of June in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
“(4) That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Tawa
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of carrying out further street upgrading and footpath
formation, the said Tawa Borough Council hereby makes a
special rate of 0·5d. in the pound upon the rateable value of
all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Tawa;
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly
on the 1st day of December and the 1st day of June in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 1 1963, £14,500
THE Hutt County Council, at its meeting held on 28 November, 1963, passed the following resolution:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £14,500 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying part of the principal in the Wainuiomata Sewerage Treatment Works Loan 1954, £125,000 (issue of £40,000), which became due for repayment on 1 December 1963, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·127 pence in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the special rating area No. 55, being part of the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RUSSELL TOWN COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Roads and Footpath Improvement Loan 1963, £6,000
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Russell Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of six thousand pounds authorised to be raised by the Russell Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving roads and footpaths in the Russell Town District, the Russell Town Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of the Russell Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Citizens of the Town District of Russell was hereunto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Russell Town Council in the presence of:

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Gisborne Airport Additional Loan 1963 of £13,570
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £13,570 authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the additional cost of a sealed runway and associated works at the Gisborne Airport, the said Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·047d. in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 26 November 1963.

ROTORUA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rotorua City Council Sportsdrome Completion Loan 1963, £25,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Rotorua City Council held on the 27th day of November 1963:
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Sportsdrome Completion Loan 1963 of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the construction of the sportsdrome, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six one pence (0·061d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Rotorua City Council Staff Housing Loan 1963, £14,300
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Rotorua City Council held on the 27th day of November 1963:
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fourteen thousand three hundred pounds (£14,300) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Staff Housing Loan 1963 of £14,300 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting four staff houses, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three three pence (0·033d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
