PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seven thousand five hundred pounds (£7,500) authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of pensioners' flats, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought three five (0·035) of a penny in the pound upon all rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Papakura; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

KAITAIA BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Kaitaia Borough District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for Kaitaia Borough was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 27th day of November 1963 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of December 1963.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Departure from Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated the 30th day of October 1963, has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Palmerston North City Council's Operative District Scheme by permitting the City Council to consent to the erection of a licensed hotel on part Rural Section 1624 in the Township of Palmerston North, the land being comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 677, folio 74, Pioneer Highway, Palmerston North, but subject, however, to the condition that alternative access to the car park be provided to the satisfaction of the Palmerston North City Council.

Monrad Street, Palmerston North District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for Monrad Street area was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 25th day of November 1963 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1964.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

Variation to the Palmerston North District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the section of Princess Street between Dahlia Street and Ferguson Street was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 25th day of November 1963 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1964.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

THE MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE is hereby given that James Lawrence Falconer, of Paetaroa, farmer, has applied for a licence for a water race commencing in Stoney Creek in Section 1, Block II, Upper Taieri-side, 60 chains west of Puketoi Runs Road, running thence in a south-easterly direction a distance of 500 yards, thence in a north easterly direction across Puketoi Runs Road a distance of 1 mile and terminating in Section 3, Block V, Upper Taieri District.
Point of intake is in Stoney Creek to divert 1 head of water plus springs along course for stock watering and domestic purposes.
The application will be heard at 10 a.m. at the Warden's Court, Cromwell, on 12 February 1964, and objections must be filed in the registrar's office and notified to the applicant at least three days prior to the hearing.
The applicant's address for service is at the office of Mr T. B. Mooney, Limerick Street, Alexandra.
