Land Taken for Water-power Purposes in Blocks I and II, Puketi Survey District, and Block I, Pukawa Survey District, Taumarunui County

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for water-power purposes and shall vest in the King Country Electric Power Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of December 1963.

FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the Puketi Survey District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
219 0 0 Part Pukawa B Block, Blocks I and II; coloured orange on plan M.O.W. 18001 (S.O. 24713).
2 0 25·5 Part Pukawa B Block, Block II; coloured orange on plan M.O.W. 18002 (S.O. 25494).

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Pukawa Survey District, South Auckland R.D., described as follows:

2 1 12 } Parts Waituhi-Kuratau 1A 1B Block; coloured sepia on plan M.O.W. 18004 (S.O. 42180).
