BAY OF ISLANDS ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bay of Islands Electric Power Board Renewal Loan No. 4 (1963), £48,000
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively, and all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £48,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned enactments in order to provide monies for repayment, at maturity, of the balance of £48,000 of the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board Reticulation Extension, Loan No. 9 (1953) £120,000—first part £80,000—the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one fifth of a penny (¹⁄₅ of 1d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Islands Electric Power District, such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of November in each and every year, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan No. 1 1963
Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,700 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the above Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Bridges Replacement Loan No. 2, 1950, which matures on 1 February 1964, the Rangitikei County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought three eight five four four pence (0·038544d.) in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Rangitikei; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rangitikei County Council, held on 14 November 1963.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Senior Citizens' Flats Loan 1963, £15,600
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fifteen thousand six hundred pounds (£15,600) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting 12 senior citizens' flats on land in Heretaunga Street and six senior citizens' flats on land in Church Street, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two hundredths of a penny (0·02d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring special rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 29th day of October 1963.

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Takapuna Central Off-street Parking Loan 1963, £125,000
In pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Takapuna Central Off-street Parking Loan 1963, £125,000, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing off-street parking in central Takapuna, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of one decimal six eight two pence (1·682d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the special rating roll for the Takapuna central special rating area); and that such special rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 19th day of November 1963.

MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Restoration Redemption Loan 1963, £12,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Mount Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity portion of the Streets Restoration Loan 1953 which matures on 17 December 1963, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of three decimal five one two pence (3·512d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April 1964."

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Roading Loan 1960, £135,000—Portion £60,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £60,000 authorised to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of preparing and sealing main highways, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven three three of a penny (0·0733d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Waikato; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAITOMO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
General Extension Loan 1963 of £50,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitomo Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and adding to the existing reticulation system and otherwise providing for the use of electrical energy throughout the Waitomo Electric Power District, and for such purposes to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the said Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of seven twenty-fifths of a penny (7/25d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Waitomo Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
