Subsoil of Street Closed in the Borough of Lyttelton

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed so much of the subsoil of the portion of street described in the First Schedule hereto as is described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of street containing 11·7 perches situated in the Borough of Lyttelton, Canterbury R.D., adjoining Rural Section 478 and part Rural Section 266.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8881 (S.O. 10161) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured burnt sienna, edged green.
SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of the subsoil of the piece of street described in the First Schedule hereto as is situated beneath a plane 10 ft in vertical height above the centre line of the roof of portion of the Christchurch-Lyttelton Road Tunnel.
As the said portion of subsoil is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8880 (S.O. 10160) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of November 1963.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation, dated the 26th day of May 1938 and published in Gazette, 2 June 1938, Volume II, page 1284, and registered as Proclamation S. 9650, defining the middle line of a road in Blocks III, VI, and VII, Rotoiti Survey District, and Block XV, Maketu Survey District, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation, dated the 23rd day of February 1949, published in Gazette, 24 February 1949, Vol. I, page 619, and registered as No. 3990, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville railway (portion of Rimutaka Tunnel deviation) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY
RESERVE 5165 (formerly part Reserve 3801) situated in Block I, Lyndon Survey District, Amuri County: Area, 11 acres and 27·9 perches, more or less. As shown on plan No. 129/56 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red (S.O. Plan 10105).

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the National Roads Board, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the executive Council, hereby authorises the construction of a motorway commencing at Grafton Gully in the City of Auckland and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction to Beach Road also in the City of Auckland.
