PURSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act 1925, I hereby
give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of
Milton, taken on the 2nd day of November 1963, on the
proposal that the system of rating in the said Borough be on
the unimproved value:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ..... 246
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 137
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

ASHBURTON COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Ashburton County District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Ashburton County Council made on the 25th day of
October 1963, a district scheme has been recommended for
approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The scheme relates to Methven and Rakaia Townships and to
the rural land about them and to that part of the County
surrounding Ashburton Borough. The Scheme has been de-
posited in the offices of the County Council at Ashburton,
the District Land Registrar, and of the undersigned at
Christchurch, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act,
and is there open for inspection without fee, to all persons
interested therein at any time when the above places are open
to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be
in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the
Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be
lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later
than 31 January 1964. At a later date any objection will
be open for public inspection and any person who wishes
to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be
heard at the hearing of objections, if he notifies the County
Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice
will be given.

Public Notification of Changes in the Mount Wellington District
Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the
Mount Wellington Borough Council, changes of the Mount Wel-
ington District Scheme have been recommended for approval
under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The changes
relate to the areas and matters set forth in the Schedule to this
notice. Plans showing the changes have been deposited at the
offices of:
The District Land Registrar, Auckland;
The Auckland Regional Planning Authority, 26 Princes Street,
Auckland; and
The Mount Wellington Borough Council, Panmure,
in accordance with section 22 (i) of the Act and are there open for
inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any
time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the changes to the scheme or to any part thereof

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned person has,
by the application enumerated below, applied, under the
Joint Family Homes Act 1950, to register as a joint family
home the land situated and described as shown after the
name of the said applicant; and that the land will be registered
accordingly unless a caveat forbidding the granting of the
application is lodged with me under that Act at the District
Land Registry Office at Hamilton before the 14th day of
February 1964 by some person claiming either to be a
creditor of the applicant or to have some estate or interest
