HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL

TAKING OF LAND FOR ROAD AND STOPPING OF ROAD

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road and to stop the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken and of the road so required to be stopped is deposited in the office of the Hobson County Council at Dargaville and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land or the stopping of the said road should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land or the stopping of such road, set forth the same in writing and send such written objections, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Hobson County Council at Dargaville.

Pursuant to section 15 (5) of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1908, notice is hereby given that the aforementioned society has been dissolved by a resolution of its members for the winding up thereof.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Hearing of Objections to Changes Recommended in the County of Taranaki District Scheme (Combined Area Section)

The Taranaki County Council hereby gives notice that the hearing of objections to changes recommended in the said scheme will commence at the County Office, Robe Street, New Plymouth, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, on Monday, the 2nd day of December 1963, and will continue as there arranged from time to time and place to place until all objectors and witnesses have been heard.

All persons who wish to be heard in support of or in opposition to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly at least three days before that date.

The following is a summary of the subject matters of objections received by the Council:

  1. Taranaki Branch, New Zealand Institute of Surveyors; rezoning for Industrial D, Industrial B, and Residential use at Bell Block area is contrary to principles of good town planning and interests of combined district.

  2. Taranaki Education Board; insufficient provision for recreational areas close to school.

  3. Mrs M. W. Church and Others and S. P. Girdwood; use of further farmlands for industrial purposes contrary to public interest.

  4. O. J. Luxford; general objection to rezoning changes and possible pollution of Bell Block beach.

  5. Henare Kipa alias Henare Niwa and Ted Skipper; in respect of 30 acres 2 roods 21 perches, Katere Y Block, Devon and Egmont Roads, and 29 acres 2 roods 23 perches, Katere X Block, on Devon Road, west of Egmont Road, requiring such lands to be rezoned partly Residential and partly Industrial “B” or “D”.

Taranaki County Council; amending scheme to designate 15 acres, more or less, Section 2A and part Section 2, Hua District, Block II, Paritutu Survey District (Smeaton Road), as a recreation reserve, in lieu of area designated for recreation purposes on plan.

DECLARATION BY THE REGISTRAR DISSOLVING A SOCIETY

I, Mervyn Henry Innes, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Kiokio Farm Labour Scheme Incorporated Society is no longer carrying on operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908.

FAIRFIELD BRICK AND SAND LTD.

IN LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Fairfield Brick and Sand Ltd. (in liquidation).

Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the office of McSkimming Industries Ltd., 40 Jetty Street, Dunedin, on the 18th day of November 1963, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely, that the liquidator be authorised to retain or destroy any books and papers of the company as he may see fit.

Every member of the company entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy need not also be a member.
