HOKITIKA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hokitika Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds authorised to be raised by the Hokitika Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for river protection works, the said Hokitika Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one and twenty-eight hundredths pence (1·28d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Hokitika, comprising the whole of the Borough of Hokitika, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I, William John Richards, Mayor of the Borough of Hokitika, certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Hokitika Borough Council on the 16th day of October 1963 making and levying a special rate.

WAIMEA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimea Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £7,500 known as Renewal Loan (No.3) 1963 authorised to be raised by the Waimea Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Border Area Loan 1951, £50,000, which matures on 1 January 1964, the said Waimea Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·009d. (decimal nought nought nine pence) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Waimea Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAIMATE COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimate County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimate County Council under the above-mentioned Act for rural housing, the said Waimate County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·038 pence in the £ upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the County of Waimate, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Waimate County Council held on the 30th day of September 1963.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight thousand nine hundred pounds (£8,900) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity the Public Cemetery Loan 1953 (£3,000) and the War Memorial Hall Loan 1953 (£9,700) which mature on 6 November 1963 and 1 February 1964 respectively, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of thirty-six four-hundredths of a penny (36/400ths d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAIRARAPA CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Building Loan 1963, £10,000
In pursuance and exercise of the the powers conferred by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Wairarapa Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 known as the Building Loan 1963 of £10,000 for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of purchasing an administrative office building, the Wairarapa Catchment Board doth hereby make and levy a special rate of 0·0035279 of a penny in the pound on the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Wairarapa Catchment Board district, comprising the Counties of Masterton, Wairarapa South, Featherston, and parts of the Counties of Eketahuna and Mauriceville, together with the Boroughs of Masterton, Carterton, Greytown, Featherston, and Martinborough; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed by the Wairarapa Catchment Board at its meeting held on the 22nd day of October 1963.

OTAGO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE
General Extension Loan 1963, £60,000
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otago Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's general extension loan 1963, £60,000, authorised to be raised by the Otago Electric Power Board under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of further reticulating the Board's inner area of supply including the augmenting of existing lines and substations and meeting costs incidental thereto, the Otago Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twentieth of a penny (1/20d.) in the pound on the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the Otago Electric Power District; and it is hereby further resolved that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said general extension loan 1963, £60,000, or until the said loan has been fully repaid; and the special rate be and the same is hereby appropriated and pledged as security for the repayment of the said loan and for payment of interest thereon and other charges under the securities to be issued in respect of the said loan."
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Otago Electric Power Board held on the 15th day of October 1963.

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorised to be raised by the Manawatu County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the construction of rural houses, the said Manawatu County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three eight pence in the pound (0·038d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Manawatu; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Manawatu County Council at a meeting of the Council held on the 8th day of October 1963.
