PURSUANT to section 6 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
amends the special order of the Auckland City Council deposited in the North Auckland Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. K. 86152, authorising the laying off of a street
in the City of Auckland at a width of less than 66 ft but
not less than 50 ft, subject to a condition as to the building
line, by cancelling the building line imposed by the said
special order in so far as it affects the land described in the
Schedule hereto.

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that those portions of road described in the
Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become County road.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of Pouarua-Hopai Road situated in Block
IV, Piako Survey District, Hauraki Plains County, commencing
at the north-eastern corner of Section 33 of the aforesaid
Block IV, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction
generally for a distance of approximately 2 miles and terminating at the south-eastern corner of Section 53 of the
aforesaid Block IV.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 8639 (S.O. 20572) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red and marked A-B.
Also all that portion of Hopai Road situated in Block IV,
Piako Survey District, Hauraki Plains County, commencing
at the south-eastern corner of Section 96 of the aforesaid
Block IV, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction
generally for a distance of approximately 69 chains and
terminating at the southernmost corner of Section 98 of the
aforesaid Block IV.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 8638 (S.O. 40716) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red and marked C-D.

- The Pareora Cemetery Order 1963

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of
October 1963
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Pareora Cemetery
Order 1963.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
November 1963. - The Levels County Council is hereby appointed to be
the trustee of the Pareora Cemetery, being the area described
in the Schedule hereto, and shall have the control and management of that cemetery under and for the purposes of the
Cemeteries Act 1908. - (1) The delegation to the Levels County Council of the
powers of appointing and removing trustees of the said
cemetery made by Order in Council dated the 18th day of
September 1933* is hereby revoked.
(2) The said Order in Council is hereby accordingly
amended by omitting from the Schedule the words “Levels
County Council . . . Pareora”.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing
1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being parts Rural Section 9699,
situated in Block IV, Otaio Survey District, and being the
whole of the land comprised and described in certificates of
title, Volume 172, folio 256, and Volume 406, folio 13,
Canterbury Registry, limited as to parcels and title; as shown
on plan marked 191/2/379, held in the office of the Department of Health, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

- Amending an Order in Council Authorising the Waitomo
Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines
Within the Waitomo Electric Power District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of
October 1963
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric
Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 8th
day of May 1951, and published in the Gazette on the 10th
day of the same month at page 639, authorising the Waitomo
Electric Power Board to erect and use electric lines and to
construct electric works within the Waitomo Electric Power
District, by deleting clause 3 thereof and substituting the
following:
“3. SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
“The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs
(a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (j) of regulation 21–01 of
the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The system of supply
authorised under paragraph (j) shall be a single-conductor
earth-return system and the use thereof shall be subject to the
terms and conditions laid down by the General Manager of
the New Zealand Electricity Department.”

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby confers
on the Maori Land Court jurisdiction to determine any matter
or question as to the entitlement and basis of apportionment
of the profits resulting from the use of the lands known as
Te Onepu, containing 6 acres, and Waipapa, containing 15
acres 2 roods 24 perches, under the provisions of Part I of the Maori
Land Amendment Act 1936 and corresponding earlier legislation up to the 31st day of March 1954.
