HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR WATERWORKS
PURPOSES UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua require to take the
lands described in the Schedule hereto. The lands are required
for the purpose of a public work, namely, for waterworks.
Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said lands is open
for inspection at the offices of the Horowhenua County
Council, Bath Street, Levin, and of the Hutt County Council,
Bowen Street, Wellington.
All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to
set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the
execution of such work or to the taking of such lands and
to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first
publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council
Chambers, Bath Street, Levin.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND CLOSING
PORTIONS OF ROAD UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council
proposes, under the above-mentioned Act to take the land in
the First Schedule hereto for road and to close portions of
the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and notice
is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to
be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the
above Council situated at Te Kuiti and is open for public
inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office
hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land or
the closing of the said road who have any objections thereto
must state their objections in writing and lodge same at the
office of the County Clerk within 40 days from the date of
the first publication of this notice.

STOPPING OF ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Clifton County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of
a road through Sections 50, 67, 68, 69, 72, and 92, Tikorangi
District, and for the purpose of such public work proposes to
take:

coloured thereon blue, sepia, and orange respectively, and the
parts of road proposed to be closed are coloured thereon
green and green, bordered green.

All persons affected by the proposed taking are hereby
called upon to set forth in writing any well grounded objections
to the taking of the said land and to send such writing, within
40 days of the date of the first publication of this notice,
namely, the 12th day of October 1963, to the Clifton County
Council at its office aforesaid, and all persons objecting to the
proposed closing of road are likewise called upon to lodge
their objections in writing at the said office on or before the
21st day of November 1963.

ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County
Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928, to take for road the portion of land described in
the First Schedule hereto and to stop the portions of road
described in the Second Schedule hereto.
