PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for soil conservation and river control purposes.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

The Dunedin City Council Electric Lines Licence 1963

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
O R D E R
- This order may be cited as the Dunedin City Council Electric Lines Licence 1963.
- Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Dunedin City Council (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area described in the First Schedule he,eto.
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee wth the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and wi.h all regulatio s made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (h), and (j) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the systems of supply authorised under paragraph (j) aforesaid being a single conductor alternating current earth-return system at pressures of 6,600 volts and 11,000 volts and also a two-conductor direct-current system at a pressure of 600 volts for supply to the licensee’s trackless trolley-omnibus system. The use of the earth-return system of supply shall be subject to such terms and conditions as are from time to time laid down by the General Manager of the New Zealand Electricity Department.
- This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1984.
- The Orders in Council specified in the Second Schedule hereto authorising the licensee to erect and use electric lines are hereby revoked.
