That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Stormwater Loan 1963, £30,000, authorised to be raised
by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of extending and improving storm-water
disposal in the city, the said Tauranga City Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal nought eight seven pence
(.087d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the
City of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Redemption Loan No. 1, 1963, £7,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £7,800 authorised to be raised by the Feilding
Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of repaying on maturing that
portion of the Water Supply Loan 1952, £35,000, which
matures 1 November 1963, the said Feilding Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal one three eight pence
(.138d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable pro-
perty of the Borough of Feilding; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on
12 September 1963.

STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Stratford Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £4,500, authorised to be raised by the Stratford
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act as the
Stratford Borough Council Abattoir Chiller Loan 1963,
£4,500, for the purpose of constructing a chill-room and
building to house plant and installing refrigerating equipment,
the said Stratford Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of 0·00035 of a pound (£) on the rateable value on
the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property of
the Borough of Stratford, comprising the whole of the
Borough of Stratford; and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed at a special meeting of the Stratford
Borough Council held on Tuesday, the 17th day of September
1963.

TAIERI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Middlemarch County Town Drainage Loan 1963, £24,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Taieri County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £24,000 authorised to be raised by the Taieri County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
providing a sewerage and sewage treatment scheme for the
Middlemarch County Town, the said Taieri County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 35·5659 pence in the pound
(£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
Middlemarch County Town, comprising the whole of the
Middlemarch County Town; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Taieri County Council on
Friday, 27 September 1963.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Street Improvement Redemption Loan 1963, £19,700

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto
enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby
resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of nineteen thousand seven hundred pounds
(£19,700), authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North
City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the
Street Improvement Loan 1952 which matures on the 1st
day of November 1963, the said Palmerston North City
Council hereby makes a special rate of seventy-three thou-
sandths of a penny (0·073d.) in the pound (£) upon the
rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and
that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of seven (7) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council
on the 23rd day of September 1963.

Redemption Loan 1963, £87,700

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto
enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby
resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of eighty-seven thousand seven hundred pounds
(£87,700), authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North
City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of
the Public Works Loan 1946, the Water Supply Extension
and Distribution Loan 1952, and the Opera House Loan 1953,
which mature on the 1st day of November 1963, the said
Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate
of two hundred and forty-six thousandths of a penny (0·246d.)
in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon the basis
of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City
of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten
(10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council
on the 23rd day of September 1963.

MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL

SECURITY RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1963, £10,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and any
amendments thereto, the Malvern County Council hereby
resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £10,000 to be known as the Rural
Housing Loan 1963, authorised to be raised by the Malvern
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of making advances to farmers under the provisions
of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Malvern County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·0172d. in
the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of capital
value) on all rateable properties comprised within the bound-
aries of the Malvern County; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each year and every year during the currency of the said loan,
being a period of up to 35 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
