PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby set apart the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of Waima, Tokomaru Bay.

PURSUANT to the Public Bodies’ Leases Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
THE Trustees for the time being of the Grand Lodge of Antient Free and Accepted Masons of New Zealand within the meaning of the Grand Lodge of Freemasons of New Zealand Trustees Act 1903, are hereby declared to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act 1908.

PURSUANT to section 2 (1) (f) of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Amendment Act 1936, the Governor-General hereby appoints the person for the time being in office as the Dominion President of the New Zealand Returned Services Association Incorporated to be a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum for a term of three years on and from 14 March 1963 as representing that Association.

The Fairfield College Board of Governors Order 1963

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Fairfield College Board of Governors Order 1963.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1964. - The constitution of the Board of Governors of Fairfield College, prescribed by the Fairfield High School Board of Governors Order 1956,* is hereby varied so that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in section 90 of the Education Act 1914, the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) Eight members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school. - The Fairfield High School Board of Governors Order 1956* is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Te Awamutu College Board of Governors Order 1963.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1964. - The constitution of the Board of Governors of Te Awamutu College, prescribed by the Te Awamutu College Board of Governors Order 1953,* is hereby varied so that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in section 90 of the Education Act 1914, the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
(c) One member appointed by the Te Awamutu Borough Council;
(d) One member co-opted by the Board itself, if and when it thinks fit. - The Te Awamutu College Board of Governors Order 1953* is hereby revoked.

Officers of Government of Ross Dependency Appointed

WHEREAS by the Order in Council dated the 30th day of July 1923,* made under the British Settlements Act 1887 of the United Kingdom Parliament, the Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief of New Zealand for the time being (thereinafter and hereinafter called the Governor) was appointed to be the Governor of the Ross Dependency, and all the powers and authorities which by the said order were given and granted to the Governor for the time being of the Dependency were thereby vested in him:
And whereas the Governor was thereby further authorised and empowered to make all such rules and regulations as might lawfully be made by Her Majesty’s authority for the peace, order, and good government of the Dependency:
And whereas, by regulations made by the Governor on the 14th day of November 1923,† it was enacted that all persons appointed by the Governor for the time being of the Dependency should have such power and authority as might be granted them in due course of law, and might be empowered to do such things as might be necessary or desirable to ensure that the laws in force in the Dependency are duly observed and complied with in every respect, and to do all things necessary or expedient for the peace, order, and good government of the Dependency, and to safeguard and preserve Her Majesty’s rights and sovereignty over and in respect of the Dependency:
