A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of road containing 2 acres and 33Β·9 perches situated in Block XXX, Hokonui Survey District, Southland R.D., adjoining Section 513 and Lot 1 and part Lot 2, D.P. 4656, being part Section 535 and 938; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8568 (S.O. 7102) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 17th day of June 1963, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Palmerston North City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Palmerston North, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the north-western side of Main Street fronting a subdivision of Lot 1 and part Lots 2 and 4, D.P. 5899, and Lot 1, A/1546, being part of Sections 11 and 13, and also other part of Section 11, Town of Palmerston North, comprised in certificate of title 127/26 (all), 293/123 (part), 342/185 and 342/186 (all).
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
THE north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the City of Palmerston North, known as Main Street, fronting Lot 1 and part Lots 2 and 4, D.P. 5899, and Lot 1, A/1546, being part of Sections 11 and 13, and also other part of Section 11, Town of Palmerston North; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8578 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
