MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956, the Counties Amendment Act 1961, and the Public Works Act 1928. NOTICE is hereby given that the Manukau County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the realignment of the Papakura-Kawakawa Road and the diversion of the Wairoa River and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Manukau County Council, 1 Princes Street, Auckland, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during all reasonable hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land, who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk of the Manukau County Council at the offices of the said Council aforesaid.

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the Akaroa County taken on the 31st day of August 1963 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £15,000, to be known as the Recreational Reserve Loan 1963, for the purpose of acquiring an area of land in Duvauchelle for recreational purposes, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 846
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 269
The number of informal votes was ....... ....... 9
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Inviting Proposals for Ashburton County District Scheme—Final Section
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Ashburton County Council at its meeting on the 16th day of August 1963 has resolved to prepare for all that part of Ashburton County not covered by the Ashburton County District Scheme, Ashburton, Methven, Rakaia Section, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to proposals (including public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.
Proposals marked “Ashburton County District Scheme—Final Section” should be addressed to Davie, Lovell-Smith, and Partners, and delivered to our office, Dalgety’s Building, 22 Cathedral Square, Christchurch, or to the County Clerk’s office, Ashburton, on or before the 14th day of February 1964.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of Mount Wellington District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that a change of the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Mount Wellington relating to the areas and matters set forth in the Schedule to this notice was approved by the Mount Wellington Borough Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 2nd day of September 1963 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the change of the scheme had been disposed of and the change of the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed.
The Council has also resolved that the change of scheme shall come into operation on the 23rd day of September 1963.
A copy of the change of scheme as approved and the scheme itself as amended by the change has been deposited in the Council’s office and may be inspected without fee by any person who so requires at any time when the office is open to the public.

Change Number 4—Map Amendment: Land between Banks Road and Panorama Road Mount Wellington. Changes of zoning from Quarry A to Residential A and to be designated as Open Space, Residential A to be designated as Open Space, street to be shown as street to be closed and subject thereto to be zoned in part Residential A and in part designated as open space.

Public Notification of Changes in the Mount Wellington District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Mount Wellington Borough Council, changes of the Mount Wellington District Scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The changes relate to the areas and matters set forth in the Schedule to this notice. Plans showing the changes have been deposited at the offices of the District Land Registrar, Auckland; the Auckland Regional Planning Authority, 26 Princess Street, Auckland; and the Mount Wellington Borough Council, Panmure, in accordance with section 22 (i) of the Act and are there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the changes of the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in Form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 12th day of November 1963. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notification will be given.
