company as altered the several particulars required by the
above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of
Companies on the 5th day of September 1963. The said
minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of Hinau Court Ltd. is thirty-six thousand
one hundred and fifty pounds (£36,150) divided into thirty-
six thousand one hundred and fifty (36,150) shares of one
pound (£1) each. At the date of registration of this minute
all the said shares have been issued and no amounts have
been or are deemed to be paid on the said shares. The
capital of Hinau Court Ltd. has been reduced from forty-
one thousand pounds (£41,000) divided into forty-one
thousand (41,000) unpaid shares of one pound (£1) each.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

Owing to the retirement of Mr F. A. Kitchingham from
practice, the partnership between Messrs F. A. Kitchingham,
A. M. Jamieson, and D. J. Tucker heretofore carried on in
Guinness Street, Greymouth, under the name or style of
“Guinness and Kitchingham” has been dissolved.

The practice will continue to be carried on at the same
address by Messrs A. M. Jamieson and D. J. Tucker under
the firm name of “Guinness and Kitchingham”.

ASHBURTON ELECTRIC POWER AND GAS BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1963—£20,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Ash-
burton Electric Power and Gas Board held on the 19th day
of August 1963, the following resolution was passed:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £20,000 to be known as Renewal Loan 1963,
£20,000, authorised to be raised by the Ashburton Electric
Power and Gas Board under the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of repaying a portion of Special Loan No. 11,
1953, the said Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·018
pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis
of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Ashburton
Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable half yearly on the 4th day of September and the
4th day of March (or yearly on the 4th day of September)
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

DUNEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1963—£35,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves as
follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £35,500 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin
Drainage and Sewerage Board under the above-mentioned
Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of
the Drainage Extension Loan 1950, which matures on 17
December 1963, the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board
hereby makes a special rate of 0·088d. in the pound (£)
upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City
of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda, comprising the
whole of the City of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda,
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of June in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of five (5) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewer-
age Board on the above-mentioned date.

HIKURANGI TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hikurangi Town Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £48,000 authorised to be raised by the Hikurangi
Town Council under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing sewerage works, the said Hikurangi Town Council hereby
makes a special rate of 20·512d. in the pound upon the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the
Hikurangi Town District, and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of September and
the 31st day of March in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £5,600 authorised to be raised by the Morrinsville
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of repaying that portion of the principal owing under
the first issue of £10,000 of the water supply improvement
Loan 1953 (£27,500), which matured in 15 August 1963,
the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of decimal two two seven pence (0·227d.) in the pound
on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property
which formed the borough of Morrinsville prior to the
extension of the borough boundaries on 1 April 1958; and
that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and to be payable yearly on the
30th day of July in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being for a period of 10 years or until the
loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Morrinsville Borough Council held on the 27th day of August
1963.

EXTRAORDINARY RESOLUTION

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to an extraordinary
resolution of Allied Foods Ltd. passed on the 6th day of
September 1963, that the company cannot by reason of its
liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to
wind up. A meeting of creditors of Allied Foods Ltd. will
be held at 2.30 p.m., on Monday, the 16th day of September
1963, at the Board Rooms of the Chamber of Commerce,
Chamber of Commerce Building, 2 Court House Lane, Auckland C.1.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

Notice is hereby given that the Whangarei Borough Council
proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for street
and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of
the Town Clerk to the said Council situated in Bank Street,
Whangarei, and is open for public inspection without fee
by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons
affected by the proposed taking of the said land who have
any well grounded objections to the proposed taking of the
said land must state their objections in writing and send the
same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this
notice to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Municipal
Buildings, Bank Street, Whangarei.

SCHEDULE

All that parcel of land containing 2 tenths of a perch being
part of Lot 18, D.P. 13841, being part of allotment 1,
Whangarei Parish and being part of the land contained in
certificate of title, Volume 318, folio 227 (Auckland Registry),
which said land is more particularly delineated on S.O.
Plan 44178, and thereon coloured yellow.
