NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Footpaths Loan 1963

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty-five thousand pounds (£65,000) authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing footpaths, kerbing and channelling, and storm-water drainage, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal four pence (1·40d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Northcote, comprising the whole of the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Ward A Water Reticulation Loan 1954, £140,000
(£10,000 Portion)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Ward A Water Reticulation Loan 1954, £140,000 (£10,000 portion), authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of water reticulation works in the City of Takapuna, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of 0·016d. (decimal nought one six pence) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 (twenty-five) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 20th day of August 1963.

OTAHUHU BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Watermain Renewal Loan 1962, £35,000

“THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-five thousand pounds (£35,000), authorised to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of replacing watermains and fittings and meeting costs incidental thereto, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two three seven nought five pence (·23705d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the rating district comprising the whole of the Borough of Otahuhu; and that the said rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

That the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby appropriates and pledges the foregoing rate as security for the said loan.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of resolution passed by the Otahuhu Borough Council, and recorded in the minutes of the proceedings of the meeting held on the 21st day of August 1963.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATES
———
Dargaville Borough Renewal Loan 1963, £4,980

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dargaville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,980 authorised to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Roads and Streets Works Loan 1952 which matures on 1 November 1963, the said Dargaville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought point one eight four of a penny (0·184d.) in the pound (£) on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Dargaville; and the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
———

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hobson County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Hobson, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council at Dargaville, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the 19th day of August 1963, being the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the County Office, Dargaville.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporation Act 1954 and of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Milton Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, provision for a sewage treatment works at Bruce Street near the Tokomairiro River at the south corner of the Borough of Milton, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated at Union Street, Milton, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing and send same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the office of the Milton Borough Council, at the Town Hall, Union Street, Milton.
