of Charmonte Creations Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a first and final dividend of
ls. 0½d. in the pound, is now payable to the creditors of the
above-named company at the office of the undersigned.

GREATER CRYSTAL PALACE LTD.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Greater Crystal Palace Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 281 of the
Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-
named company will be held at the Chamber of Commerce
Library, corner Worcester Street and Oxford Terrace,
Christchurch, on Thursday, the 19th day of September 1963,
at 10.30 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid
before it showing how the winding up has been conducted
and the property of the company has been disposed of and
to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.
Further Business:
To consider and if thought fit to pass the following
resolutions:
- That the books and papers of the company be retained
by the liquidator for a period of five years from the date
of this meeting. - That the liquidator's fee be £155.
Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting
is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of
him. A proxy need not also be a member.

Laminex Proprietary Ltd. hereby gives notice that it intends,
at the expiration of three months from the date of the first
publication of this notice in the Gazette, to cease to have a
place of business in New Zealand.

WAIMEA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waimea Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £15,000, known as Renewal Loan (No. 2) 1963,
authorised to be raised by the Waimea Electric Power Board
under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying
on maturity, that portion of the Reticulation Loan (No. 7)
1953, £50,000, which matures on 1 November 1963, the said
Waimea Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate
of 0·018d. (decimal nought one eight pence) in the pound
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value)
of all rateable property of the Waimea Electric Power
District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the
loan is fully paid off."

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £30,000, authorised to be raised by the Featherston
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for con-
structing and reconstructing roads, bridges, and culverts in
the County of Featherston, the said Featherston County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 7/25 of one penny
in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property of the whole of
the County of Featherston; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 17th day of July in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The Common Seal of the chairman, councillors, and inhabi-
tants of the County of Featherston was hereto affixed at the
office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Featherston
County Council in the presence of:

TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Municipal Band Instruments Loan 1963 of £3,000
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above Council
held on the 19th day of August 1963, the following resolution
was passed.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Te
Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000), authorised to be
raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing a set of
musical instruments for the Te Kuiti Municipal Band, the
said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes a special rate
of one-eighth of a penny (¼d.) in the pound on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable
property within the whole of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off."

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
"THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Nelson City Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of
providing interest and other charges on a loan of £100,000
to be known as the Maitai Water Supply Loan (No. 4) 1963
of £100,000, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
erecting a low intake weir on the south branch of the Maitai
River, installing a temporary main to the dam site, installing
the pipe line from Thompson Terrace to Waimea Road, im-
proving the existing reticulation in the city, and installing
a main from the Brook Street syphon to the Wood Area, the
Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate
of eighty-one two hundred and fifty-sixths of a penny
(81/256d.) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis
of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City
of Nelson comprising the whole of the said city; and such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of August in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until such loan is
paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by
the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council
Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 15th day of
August 1963.
