NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its
amendments

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairoa Borough Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts
to execute a certain Public Work, namely, a Borough depot
and yard, and for the purposes of such Public Work the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
hereby required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office
of the Town Clerk to the Wairoa Borough Council, situated
in Queen Street, Wairoa, and is open for inspection without
fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said Public
Work or by the taking of the said land who have any well
grounded objections thereto must state their objections in
writing and send the same within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Wairoa
Borough Council chambers.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken: 0 acres
2 roods 17·3 perches being Orangitirohia 12c Block, situated
in Block II, Clyde Survey District, and situated in the Borough
of Wairoa in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council
proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the
purposes of Part II of the Housing Improvement Act 1945.
Any persons having any well grounded objection to the pro-
posed taking should lodge their objections in writing at the

proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing
purposes.

All persons affected by the taking of the said land who
have any well grounded objection to the taking of the said
land must state their objections in writing and send the same
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the
Town Clerk, at his office, Sewell Street, Hokitika.

described in the Second Schedule hereto. A plan, of the
portion of road proposed to be taken and of the portion of
road proposed to be stopped, is open for public inspection
at the office of the Waikato County Council, Grey Street,
Hamilton East, during 40 days from the date of the first
publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the
proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the office

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the
matter of a proposal to stop a piece of road in the
County of Bay of Islands.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County
Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Act to stop the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto,
and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said
pieces of road so proposed to be stopped is deposited in the
public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated at
Albert Street, Kawakawa, and is open for inspection without
fee by all persons during ordinary office hours from Monday,
29 July 1963, until Monday, 9 September 1963.

All persons objecting to the above proposal must lodge
their objections in writing at the office of the said Council
on or before the 9th day of September 1963.
