STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Specified Departure From Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to regulation 32 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, by consent dated 5 July 1963, consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Stratford Borough Council's Operative District Scheme, by permitting William Walter Campbell to install two typesetting machines in a building to be erected at the rear of the applicant's residential property being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 7563, and being part Section 102, Manganui District, No. 39 Broadway Stratford, but subject however to the following conditions:
(a) That the consent be for a period of four years and any extension be decided upon when the District Scheme is reviewed in 1967.
(b) That the granting of the consent shall not be construed as a consent for any person other than the applicant and his staff, if any, to operate the business on the land above-described.
(c) That no additional machinery be installed without prior consent of the Stratford Borough Council.
(d) That the size of the building be limited to 400 sq. ft. and the siting be approved by the Council.
(e) That any nuisance be abated to the satisfaction of the Council.
Copies of the specified departure have been deposited in the Council's Office and in the Public Library and may be inspected without fee by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Palmerston North City Council made on the 25th day of June 1962, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Monrad Street area of the City of Palmerston North.
The Scheme has been deposited at the following places:
The Municipal Library, Fitzherbert Avenue; The Roslyn Library, Andrew Avenue; The Hokowhitu Library, Ascot Street; The Takaro Library, Botanical Road; and Municipal Chambers, The Square,
and is open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or any part thereto, shall be in writing on form No. 4, described in the First Schedule of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 4 p.m. on Friday, 25 October 1963.
At a later date every objection will be opened for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at a hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

OTAGO CATCHMENT BOARD
NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF CLASSIFICATION LIST
Classification Under Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, of Land in the Otago Catchment District
NOTICE is hereby given:
(a) The land in the part of the Otago Catchment District described in the Schedule hereto has been classified under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and the classification is deemed a valid classification as from the date on which this notice is first published, namely the 31st day of July 1963.
(b) The proportions in which rates are to be imposed under that Act on the several classes of land are as follows:
Class A 80 Class B 45 Class C 36 Class D 18 Class E 12 Class F 6 Class U1 4 Class U2 3
(c) The classification list includes an apportionment by the Valuer-General of the rateable value of the land in those cases where portions of a piece of land are classified in different classes.
(d) The classification list may be inspected at the office of the Taieri-County Council, Clyde Street, Mosgiel, during a period of 28 days hereafter.
(e) The classification list is deemed to be a special roll of ratepayers for the purposes of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956.
(f) Any person who is dissatisfied in respect of any matter appearing in the classification list has the rights of appeal provided for by section 103 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, as substituted by section 18 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1959, which rights, and any other right to commence proceedings affecting the classification, must be exercised within 49 days hereafter. Appeals will normally be made to a Magistrate's Court but appeals in respect of the method of making or of the form or validity of the classification as a whole may be made to the Land Valuation Court only.
(g) The classification has been made by Basil William Peryman.
(h) Copies of the instructions given by the Board to the Classifier and of the resolutions of the Board relative to the classification may be inspected at the place and during the period specified in paragraph (d) of this notice.

ALL that area in the Otago Catchment District and bounded as follows:
Commencing at a point on the centre line of the Taieri River on the prolongation of the north-eastern side of the Middlemarch-Dunback-Mosgiel Main Highway, East Taieri Survey District, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern side of the aforesaid highway to the intersection thereon with the north-western boundary of River Section 49, in the aforesaid district and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-western boundary of River Section 49 aforesaid, and Section 38R, Irregular Block, East Taieri Survey District, to the north-western corner thereof; thence in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundary of Section 62B, Block XVIII, in the aforesaid district, to and across a road and again along a road forming the north-eastern boundary of Section 62B aforesaid, to the south-western corner of Section 2 of 28 Block VII, Maungatua Survey District; thence generally in a north-easterly direction along a road forming the north-western boundaries of Section 2 of 28 aforesaid, and Sections 3 of 28, 1 of 28, 1 of 27, 3 of 27, and 1 of 26, Block VII, Maungatua Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 1 of 26, aforesaid; thence in a north-easterly direction along a road forming the north-western
