HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto, as Maori reservations for the purposes as set out, for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngai Taumanuhiri tribe.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use and benefit of the Ngatitamaahuroa and Titahi hapus for the use of the timber for Oeo Pa purposes and for grazing of stock thereon for the benefit of the Oeo Pa.

Adding Land to the Tongariro National Park

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Tongariro National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Tongariro National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

Declaring Certain Buildings and Land at Papatoetoe to be a Public Institution Under the Mental Health Act 1911

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 44 of the Mental Health Act 1911, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares the buildings situated on the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with the land described in that Schedule, being land used or intended to be used in connection with the said buildings, to be a public institution within the meaning of the Mental Health Act 1911.


SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land containing 10 acres 1 rood, more or less, being part Allotment 44, Parish of Manurewa; as the same is outlined in red on the plan marked M.O.W. 7905 deposited in the office of the Ministry of Works at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Manawatu Rabbit District Order 1963.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Manawatu Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 7th day of November 1923,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
