Directing the Sale of Land in the Borough of Ashburton

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

ALL that piece of land containing 7 perches, situated in the Borough of Ashburton, Canterbury R.D., being Lot 14, D.P. 12044, being part Town Section 157. All certificate of title, Volume 473, folio 25, Canterbury Land Registry.

The Whangarei Borough Council Electric Lines Licence 1963

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Whangarei Borough Council Electric Lines Licence 1963.

  2. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Whangarei Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area described in the Schedule hereto.

  3. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  4. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence. Provided that the licensee shall not, by virtue of this clause, be required, except in the course of alteration, repair, or maintenance, to reconstruct in conformity with the regulations hereinbefore mentioned any electric lines or works which conformed to the regulations in force at the time of the construction thereof.

  5. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (d), (e), (f) and (h), of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

  6. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1984.

  7. The Order in Council dated the 6th day of December 1949, and published in the Gazette on the 8th day of the same month at page 2777, authorising the licensee to erect and use certain electric lines is hereby revoked.

AREA OF SUPPLY

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County and Whangarei Borough, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 41018, in Block V, Whangarei Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly generally down the middle of the Otangarei Stream to and along the right bank of the Hatea River to the southernmost corner of Mair Park in Block IX, Whangarei Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line across the said river to and and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of part of Parahaki 1 to and southerly generally along the generally western boundary of Parahaki Reserve, shown on Deeds Plan W 26, and along the generally south-western boundary of part Parahaki 3 (Ross Park) to the northernmost corner of Dundas Road; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of part Allotment 2, Parahaki Parish, shown on D.P. 17205; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the north-western and south-western boundaries of the said part Allotment 2, to and southerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 39953, the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 46973, and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 46973, and the last-mentioned boundary produced across Riverside Road, to and south-easterly along the south-western side of that road, to and south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of parts Lots 7, 6, and 5, D.P. 32954, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to and down the middle of the low-water channel of the Whangarei Harbour (Hatea River) to its intersection with a line bearing 38° 36′ 30″ from the middle of a bridge on the Port Whangarei Road crossing the Limeburners Creek; thence along a right line from that last-mentioned point across the middle of the bridge aforesaid to the north-eastern side of the North Auckland Railway; thence westerly generally along the north-eastern side of that railway to the southern boundary of Okara Block and along a right line across the said railway, to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 26761, to Hoeys Road; thence along a right line across the said road to Peg No. XXVII, as shown on S.O. 22721, along a series of right lines bearing 257° 36′ distant 1045·3 links, bearing 265° 35′ distant 571·4 links, bearing 239° 06′ distant 205·3 links, bearing 275° 09′ 30″ distant 440·0 links, bearing 312° 55′ distant 332·2 links and bearing 300° 12′ distant 95·0 links to the middle of Morningside Road; thence still westerly generally along the middle of the said road, the middle of High Street, Mount Pleasant Road, and Otaika Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 36597; thence north-westerly generally along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, D.P. 43731, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, D.P. 47388, and the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 7 of D.P. 47388 to and along the north-eastern boundaries of part Lots 1 and 6, D.P. 32891, and the last-mentioned boundary produced across Raumanga Road to the middle of the Raumanga Stream in Block XII, Purua Survey District; thence up the middle of the said stream to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 42098; thence northerly along a right line to and along that eastern boundary and the eastern boundaries of Lots 5, 1, and 3, D.P. 42098, to and easterly along the southern side of Hospital Road to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 35519; thence northerly along a right line across the said road to and along the aforesaid western boundary and the western boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 46914, and Lot 2, D.P. 17810, to the southern side of Maunu Road; thence along a right line to and along the eastern boundary of part Lot 3, D.P. 17296; thence easterly, north-westerly, and north-easterly generally along the boundary of part Horahora 2, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1079, folio 28, to the western boundary of part Horahora 2, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 11, folio 49, and southerly along that western boundary to and north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XII, Purua Survey District (Coronation Scenic Reserve), to and along a series of right lines across the said Section 2, being the generally south-eastern boundary of part Horahora 2, shown on S.O. 16342, to and along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 2 and along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments S. 77 and N. 77, Whangarei Parish, the north-eastern end of a public road, and the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 71 of the said parish, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments 66, 67, and 68, along the southern boundary of Allotment 69, all the aforesaid allotments being of Whangarei Parish, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to and
