Declaring Road in Block I, Waihi South Survey District, Tauranga County, to be County Road

At the Government House at Wellington this 10th day of July 1963

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of the road described in the Schedule hereto shall on and after the date of this Order in Council become County road.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road situated in Block I, Waihi South Survey District, Tauranga County, commencing at a point 376·5 links north of the south-western corner of Section 13 of the aforesaid Block I, and proceeding in a southerly direction for approximately 32 chains and terminating at a public road.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 7975 (S.O. 36826) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a church site for the common use and benefit of the adherents of the Ratana faith.

PURSUANT to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council made on 13 June 1962 and published in Gazette on 21 June 1962, Volume II, page 971, in so far as it affects the land described as Pakohu 2B 2k 1.
