COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL

LAND TO BE TAKEN FOR A ROAD

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956, and the Public
Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work, namely the construction of a
road in the County Town of Whitianga and for the purpose
of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given
that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the public office of the County Clerk of the said Council
and with the Secretary, County Town Committee, Mr J. V.
Matthews, Monk Street, Whitianga, and is open for inspection,
without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of such land who have
any well grounded objections to the taking of the said land,
must state their objections in writing and send the same within
forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to
the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Coromandel.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the New Plymouth City
Council proposes to provide land for the purposes of a ser-
vice lane and for such purposes requires to take in accordance
with the provisions of the above-mentioned Act all those
pieces of land containing together an area of five decimal five
three perches (0 a. 0 r. 5·53p.), more or less, being parts of
Lots two (2) and three (3) on Deposited Plan No. 7654 and
Lot three (3) on Deposited Plan No. 7310, and being parts of
Sections nine hundred and twenty-seven (927), nine hundred
and twenty-eight (928), and nine hundred and twenty-nine
(929), Town of New Plymouth, and also being parts of the
land comprised in certificates of title registered in Register
Books, Volume 202, folio 4, and Volume 200, folio 89; the
said pieces of land being more particularly shown coloured
blue on the plan deposited at the office of the said Council
situated in Liardet Street, New Plymouth, and there open for
inspection at all reasonable hours.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Change in Hastings City District
Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution
of the Hastings City Council made on the 30th day of May
1963, a change of the above district scheme has been recom-
mended for approval under the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953. The change relates to a re-zoning of Lot 4 on
Deposited Plan 10099, situate in Warwick Road, Hastings.
It is the intention of the Council to change the zoning of this
lot from “Residential” to “Commercial A” to enable shops to
be erected on the lot in question.

Details of the change in the scheme have been deposited
in the office of the Council and in the Public Library in
Karamu Road South, Hastings, in accordance with section
22 (1) of that Act and is there open for inspection without
fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the
above places are open to the public. Objections to the change
in the said scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing
in Form E described in the First Schedule to the Town and
Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be lodged in
the office of the Council at any time not later than the 2nd
day of September 1963.

At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
the objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within
the period of which public notice will be given.

Inviting Proposals for the Oxford County District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Oxford County Council
at its meeting held on the 1st day of July 1963, has resolved
to prepare for the County of Oxford a District Scheme as
required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the
district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited
to submit full information as to the proposals (including
public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be con-
sidered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Oxford District Scheme” should be ad-
dressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County
Clerk’s office at Oxford on or before the 30th day of
November 1963.
