OTAHUHU BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
RESOLUTION passed by the Otahuhu Borough Council at a meeting held in the Council Chambers, Great South Road, Otahuhu, on Thursday, 4 July 1963.
"That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-nine thousand pounds (£39,000) authorised to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of erecting pensioners' accommodation and meeting associated costs, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nine eight nought three (.19803d.) pence in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Otahuhu; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
That the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby appropriates and pledges the foregoing rate as security for the said loan.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of Resolution No.777 passed by the Otahuhu Borough Council and recorded in the minutes of proceedings of the meeting held on the 4th day of July 1963.

WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1963, £150,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board held on the 27th day of June 1963, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairarapa Electric Power Board resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £150,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of extending and improving the Board's electricity distribution system, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of thirteen-two hundredths of a penny (13/200d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
County Office Supplementary Loan 1963, £3,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,500, authorised to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the County Office Loan 1961, £35,000 was sanctioned and raised, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one nine nine pence (0·0199d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property appearing on the valuation roll of the County of Taranaki; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 4th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Taranaki County Council held on the 9th day of July, 1963.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Gisborne Airport Loan 1963 of £89,375
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £89,375, authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting portion of the cost of a sealed runway and associated works at Gisborne Airport, the said Gisborne City
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·316d. in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 9 July 1963.

NORTH AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) authorised to be raised by the North Auckland Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting additional costs in connection with the supply and distribution of electrical energy to, and works incidental thereto at the Oil Refinery at Marsden Point, the said North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five two pence (0·052d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the North Auckland Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellington City Libraries Loan 1963, £55,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 10th day of July 1963.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty-five thousand pounds (£55,000) to be known as the Wellington City Libraries Loan 1963 of £55,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of rearranging shelving and other works in the main library, erecting new library buildings at Johnsonville and Karori, and purchasing a mobile library trailer, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of twenty-four one-thousandths of a penny (0·024d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE IN CONNECTION WITH THE WELLINGTON CITY HANSON STREET FLATS LOAN 1963, £230,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on 10 July 1963.
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and thirty thousand pounds (£230,000) to be known as the Wellington City Hanson Street Flats Loan 1963 of £230,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting multi-storey blocks of flats at Hanson Street, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-five one-thousandths of a penny (0·055d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the said loan is fully paid off."
