Stopped Government Road Set Apart for an Automatic Telephone Exchange in Block III, Waiwera Survey District

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the stopped Government road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for an automatic telephone exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of July 1963.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of stopped Government road containing 1 rood 24·7 perches, situated in Block III, Waiwera Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through part Section 17 and part Allotment 313, Parish of Waiwera; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 7950 (S.O. 44084) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of July 1963.

Consenting to Stopping Road in Blocks II and VI, Titirangi Survey District, Waitemata County

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 3rd day of July 1963

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Waitemata County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of road situated in Blocks II and VI, Titirangi Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 1 20·4 Lot 1, D.P. 43659.
0 0 21·9 Part Allotment 104, Parish of Waikomiti.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 7915 (S.O. 43799) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Rangitikei County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of road situated in Block IX, Ongo Survey District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 10th day of July 1963

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

ALL those pieces of road situated in Block III, Waiwera Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through

Authorising the Construction of the Hamilton By-pass Motorway in the County of Waipa

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 10th day of July 1963

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the National Roads Board and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the construction of a motorway to be known as the Hamilton Eastern By-pass Motorway commencing at the Hamilton City boundary on the city side of the Waikato River near Hungerford Crescent and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally to its intersection with Peacocke’s Road in the Waipa County.

PURSUANT to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies the Order in Council made on 5 July 1950 and published in Gazette on 13 July 1950, Volume I, page 891, by excluding from the reservation thereby created the land described in the Schedule hereto.
