HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following Order:

The areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby
excluded from the City of Gisborne and included in the
County of Cook.

SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY, part Wai-o-hi-harore A 2A Block, situated in Block
VI, Turanganui Survey District: Area, 1 acre and 18.3
perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 53,

Appointments, Extensions of Commissions, and Date of Retirement, and Transfer of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

Pursuant to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force
Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been
pleased to approve the following appointments, extensions of
commissions, and date of retirement, and transfer of officers
of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE

GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Appointments

The under-mentioned airmen are granted short-service com-
missions in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force,
for periods ending on the date shown. They are appointed in
the rank of Pilot Officer, with seniority and effect from 26
February 1963:
Flight Sergeant Peter Harold White (336991), 25 February 1975.
Sergeant David James Greenlees (71637), 25 February 1971.
Sergeant John Maitland McLean (75635), 25 February 1975.

Extensions of Commissions

The under-mentioned Flight Lieutenants are granted exten-
sions of their commissions until the date shown:
Albert Broomhead, D.F.C. (76937), 11 July 1963.
William Edmund Hugh Bromley (73132), 31 December 1964.
Stuart William Quayle (784155), 15 November 1974.
Donald Gray McAllister (925602), 27 February 1978.

Extension of Date of Retirement

The age for retirement of Wing Commander Lawrence Hugh
Edwards, O.B.E. (70047) is further extended for the period
2 December 1963 to 20 December 1963.

TECHNICAL BRANCH
Transfer to Retired List

Signals Division
Squadron Leader Joseph Thomas White (70235) is trans-
ferred to the Retired List "A", with effect from 22 September
1963.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH
Appointment

Special Duties Division
Douglas Trevor Holland (81172) is granted a short-service
commission in the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special
Duties Division), Regular Air Force, for a period ending
18 June 1966, to be followed by four years in the Reserve
of Air Force Officers. He is appointed in the rank of Flying
Officer, with seniority and effect from 19 June 1963.

TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH
Extension of Commission

Special Duties Division
Flight Lieutenant Donald Frederick Sykes, A.F.C., D.F.M.
(134193), is granted an extension of his commission until 8
June 1968.

AIR TRAINING CORPS

Appointment

Peter Macdonald Malcolm, B.SC., is granted a commission in
the Air Training Corps, in the rank of Pilot Officer, with
seniority and effect from 22 April 1963.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS

Extension of Commission

Flying Officer Robert James Scott (70172) is granted an
extension of his commission until 13 June 1979.
