4 JULY
$90,000 of the Works Loan 1957, £700,000, which matures on
1 August 1963, and the cost of raising the loan, the said
Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of two twenty-thirds of one penny (2/23 of 1d.) in the
pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual
value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising
the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in
each and every year during the currency of the said loan or
until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE
Renewal Loan 1963
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of forty-five thousand pounds (£45,000) authorised
to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those
portions of the Old City Sewer Loan 1951, £15,000; the
Streets Loan 1951, £198,400; the Fairfield and Enderley Sewer
and Water Loan 1951, £85,000; and the Domain’s Improvement
Loan 1952, £20,000; which mature on 17 August 1963,
the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate
of eight hundred and twelve ten-thousandths of a penny
(0·0812d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable property of the city of Hamilton; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Gasworks Renewal Loan 1963
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of fifty-two thousand two hundred pounds (£52,200)
authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on
maturity that portion of the Gasworks Loan 1951, £157,400,
which matures on 17 August 1963, the said Hamilton City
Council hereby makes a special rate of seven hundred and
six ten-thousandths of a penny (0·0706d.) in the pound upon
the rateable value of all rateable property of the city of
Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£150,000)
authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving storm
water drainage in the city and costs incidental thereto; the
said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of
one hundred and seventy-six thousandths of a penny (0·176d.)
in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property
of the city of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

hundred and seventy-six thousandths of a penny (0·176d.) in
the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of
the city of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty
(20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of thirteen thousand two hundred pounds (£13,200)
authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land
and constructing accommodation for aged persons, including
works incidental thereto, the said Hamilton City Council hereby
makes a special rate of ninety-five ten-thousandths (0·0095d.)
of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property of the city of Hamilton; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of thirty-five (35) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan 1963, £15,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairere
Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £15,000,
known as the Renewal Loan 1963, and authorised to be raised
by the Wairere Electric Power Board under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity por-
tions of the Housing Loan 1950, £4,000, the Reticulation Loan
1951, £20,000, and the Reticulation Loan 1952, £41,000, which
mature in the period 1 November 1963 to 1 March 1964, the
said Wairere Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a
special rate of two fifths of a penny (0·4d.) in the pound upon
the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property within the Wairere Electric Power District
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed at the meeting of the Wairere Electric
Power Board held on Thursday, 20 June 1963.
