Reservation of Land

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as reserves for gravel purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserves in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland, in trust, for that purpose.

Kaitaia Drainage Area—Penalty on Overdue Rates

PURSUANT to section 76 of the Rating Act 1925 and the Swamp Drainage Act 1915 and its amendments, the ratepayers within the Kaitaia Drainage Area are hereby notified that 10 per cent additional will be added to all rates for the year ending 31 March 1963 unpaid on 15 March 1963.

Rates may be paid at any money-order office or to the Collector of Rates, Lands and Survey Department, P.O. Box 2206, Auckland C.1, or at the office of the Lands and Survey Department, Melba Street, Kaitaia.

Licensing Opito Bay Properties Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea in Opito Bay, Kerikeri, as a Site for a Boat-launching Ramp

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Opito Bay Properties Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Opito Bay, Kerikeri, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11437 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a boat-launching ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provision of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of January 1963.
3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5), and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

Licensing the Gisborne City Council to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Gisborne as a Site for a Submarine Sewer

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Gisborne City Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Gisborne, as shown on plans marked M.D. 11389 and M.D. 11439 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a submarine sewer as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of January 1963.
3. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be one shilling payable on demand.
