HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public
Works Act 1928 and the Acts amending the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Heathcote proposes to take,
under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public
Works Act 1928, for the purpose of establishing a rubbish-
tip site:

Firstly, all those parcels of land situated in Block XVI
of the Christchurch Survey District, containing two acres
two roods nine perches and seven-tenths of a perch (2 ac.
2 r. 9·7 p.), more or less, being Lot 9 and part Lot 8 on
Deposited Plan 814, being part Rural Section 43 and being
part of the land comprised and described in certificate of
title, Volume 390, folio 287 (Canterbury Land Registry), as
shown coloured orange on a plan prepared by Thomas Edward
Miles, of Christchurch, registered surveyor;

Secondly, all that parcel of land situated in Block XVI of
the Christchurch Survey District, containing six acres ten
perches and three-tenths of a perch (6 ac. 0 r. 10·3 p.), more
or less, being part Lot 5 on Deposited Plan 860, being part
Rural Section 43 and being the whole of the land comprised
and described in certificate of title, Volume 137, folio 19
(Canterbury Land Registry), as shown coloured orange on
the plan aforesaid prepared by Thomas Edward Miles, of Christ-
church, registered surveyor;

And thirdly, all that parcel of land situated in Block XVI
of the Christchurch Survey District, containing one acre one
rood two perches and nine-tenths of a perch (1 ac. 1 r.
2·9 p.), being part Rural Section 43 and being part of the
land included in conveyance registered No. 8839 recorded in
index book 1c/S480 of the Deeds Registration Office (Canter-
bury Land Registry), as shown coloured in blue on the
plan aforesaid prepared by Thomas Edward Miles, of Christ-
church, registered surveyor.

All which lands are situate in the County of Heathcote.

And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected
shall if they have any well grounded objection to the estab-
lishing of such a rubbish-tip site or the taking of such lands
set forth in writing such objection and send such writing
within forty (40) days from the date of the first publica-
tion of such notice being the 21st day of June 1963, addressed
to the County Clerk, Heathcote County Council, 170 Man-
chester Street, Christchurch.

And notice is hereby further given that copies of the said
plan showing the above described lands and the names of
the owners and occupiers of such lands so far as they can be
ascertained are deposited at the offices of the Heathcote
County Council, 170 Manchester Street, Christchurch.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND CLOSING
PORTION OF ROAD UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council
proposes, under the above-mentioned Act, to take the land
described in the First Schedule hereto for road and to close
portion of the road described in the Second Schedule hereto;
and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of
the clerk of the above council situated at Te Kuiti and is
open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during
ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the taking of
the said land who have any objections thereto must state their
objections in writing and lodge same at the office of the
County Clerk within 40 days from the date of the first
publication of this notice.
