    On estimated liabilities, nil.
    On mortgage, £18,000.

  3. That the assets of the company on that date were:

    Bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil.
    Cash on deposit and at bank, £327,494.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Departure from Combined Area District Scheme

NOTICE is given under section 35 (3) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and regulation 32 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the New Plymouth City Council’s operative Combined Area District Scheme by permitting the Minister of Works to subdivide all the land situated between Ngamotu Road, Paritutu Road, and Simons Street, New Plymouth, shown on a plan marked T.P. 13216 and deposited at the office of the Council in Liardet Street, New Plymouth, into lots for residential purposes conforming to the minimum area and frontage requirements prescribed by the said Scheme for residential zones and by further permitting the applicant to erect and construct on the said land residential buildings and buildings accessory thereto notwithstanding that the land is at present zoned as “Rural”.

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of Borough of Pahiatua District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Borough made on 10 June 1963, the Council has recommended under section 29 of the Act that the operative district scheme be changed to have the land in the Schedule hereto rezoned from reserves for recreation and open space to Industrial C.

The change to the district scheme as now recommended by the Council has been deposited in the Council office in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act and is open for inspection by all persons interested therein without fee, at any time when the office is open to the public.

Objection to the proposed change to the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed by the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked “objection to the scheme change” and lodged at the office of the Council any time not later than 2 August 1963. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the Council office.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

ALL that piece of land situated in Vincent Terrace, Ford Street and Mangahao Road, in the Borough of Pahiatua, containing 1 rood 3·67 perches, more or less, being part of land described as Lot 206 D.P. 325, being part of Section 20, Block VIII, Mangahao Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 178, folio 148.

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Papatoetoe District Scheme—Proposed Change

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Council on the 7th day of May 1963, the Council has recommended that the Operative District Scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto. The change has been deposited in the office of the Papatoetoe Borough Council, St. George Street, Papatoetoe, and is there open for inspection, without fee, at any time when the office is open to the public.

Objections to the proposed change may be made by way of written notice marked “Objections to Scheme Change” and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 21st day of August 1963, on the appropriate form for use of objections available from the Council Office.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections, if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

(2) All that piece of land situated at Great South Road, in the Borough of Papatoetoe, described as containing 1 rood 9·6 perches, more or less, being Lot 5, D.P. 18284 of Allotment 38, Manurewa Parish, to be changed from Residential A to Commercial B and that a Service Lane not less than 20 ft wide be set aside on the north-eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 18284.

(3) All that piece of land situated at St. George Street in the Borough of Papatoetoe, described as containing 35·5 perches, more or less, being Lot 4, D.P. 50563 of Allotment 43, Manurewa Parish, to be changed from Residential A to Commercial B; that the land edged red on Plan 18/92 be zoned Service Lane; and that the land edged blue on Plan 18/92 be land not zoned, designated for use for civic purposes and car parking.

(4) All that piece of land situated at St. George Street in the Borough of Papatoetoe, described as containing 26·5 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 50563 of Allotment 43, Manurewa Parish, to be changed from Residential A to Commercial B.

Review of Mount Maunganui Borough District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 11th day of October 1962, the Mount Maunganui Borough District Scheme as already operative is under review, and the Council has recommended that the scheme with the changes now incorporated therein be approved.

The scheme as now recommended by the Council has been deposited in the Council offices, Maunganui Road, Mount Maunganui, and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the office is open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme or in respect of any portion of the operative district scheme which the Council proposes to confirm without change, may be made by way of written notice in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 or to the like effect, marked “Objection to District Scheme”, and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 9th day of August 1963.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
