HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Tinui Rabbit District Order 1963.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Tinui Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 28th day of June 1950,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TINUI RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, County of Masterton, containing an area of 258,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in the middle of the Mataikona River in Block III, Castlepoint Survey District, and proceeding generally north-westerly up the middle of that river to its confluence with the Pakowhai River; thence westerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 27, Block XVI, Puketoi Survey District; thence southerly to and along that boundary to the south-eastern corner of that section; thence generally westerly along the generally southern boundary of the said Section 27 to the eastern side of a public road and along a right line at right angles to that side to the western side of the said road; thence generally south-westerly along that side and the generally south-eastern and southern boundaries of Section 10, Block XVI aforesaid, to the south-western corner of that section; thence northerly along the western boundaries of that section and Section 16, Block XVI aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 9604; thence generally south-westerly along the generally north-western boundaries of that lot, the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 823, Whareama District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to and down the middle of the Tauweru River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 20290, in Block II, Mangapakeha Survey District; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary, crossing Wingate Road, to the southernmost corner of Lot 4, D.P. 2131; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that lot to the northernmost corner of Section 148, Whareama District; thence westerly along a right line to the southernmost corner of Lot 7, D.P. 1331; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 17545, and Lot 1, D.P. 9135, to the north-western corner of the said Lot 1; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of that lot and Section 24, Rangitumau District, crossing a public road, the north-western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 9135, and Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 17545, the north-western, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 4826, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary across Wairiri Road to and along the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4826, to the westernmost corner of that lot; thence generally southerly along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 4826, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 139 and 235, Rangitumau District, to the southernmost corner of the said Section 235; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that section to the south-eastern side of Mangarai Road, along a right line to and along the north boundary of Section 111, Rangitumau District, to the northernmost corner of that section; thence southerly along the western boundaries of that section and Section 112, Rangitumau District, and their production to the middle of Clelands Road, along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. A/345, to and along that boundary to the southernmost corner of that lot; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western boundaries of that lot and Lot 2, D.P. 3243, to the south-western corner of the said Lot 2, along a right line bearing 183° 56′ 31″, distance 1100 links, and a right line bearing 285° 09′ 31″ to the middle of No. 52 Provincial State Highway; thence southerly along the middle of that highway to its intersection with the Masterton-Castlepoint road; thence easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 605, Whareama District, in Block III, Otahoua Survey District; thence generally southerly to and along that boundary, the north-western and southern boundaries of Section 604 and the western boundary of Section 546, Whareama District, to the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 14458; thence generally easterly along that boundary, the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 14017, the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 13081, the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 14732, the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 14732, the south-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 14709, the generally southern boundary of Lot 10, D.P. 14709, and the south-western boundaries of Lots 2 and 2, D.P. 11340, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 11340, to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block VI, Rewa Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the northern boundary of that section, the western boundary of Section 614, Whareama District, the northern and western boundaries of Section 613, Whareama District, and the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 18464, to the south-western corner of that lot; thence generally easterly along the southern boundaries of the said Lot 1 and Section 613 aforesaid and the left bank of the Waihora Stream to a point in line with the northern side of a public road forming the southern boundary of Section 677, Whareama District, to and along that side and its production to the eastern side of a public road intersecting the said Section 677, along that side to and along the southern boundary of the said Section 677, the western and generally northern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 10442, to and along the left bank of Swansons Creek to the eastern side of the Homewood Road, along that side to and along the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4523, to and down the middle of the Kohiwai Creek, to and along the generally northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 4523, to and along the right bank of the Whareama River to the sea coast; thence generally north-easterly along the sea coast to the point of commencement.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE EKETAHUNA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Eketahuna Borough, Mauriceville and part Eketahuna and Masterton Counties, containing 299,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Mangahao River in Block III, Tararua Survey District, on a right line between Trig Stations Ngapuketura and Arawaru and proceeding generally north-easterly down the middle of that river to a point on a right line between Trig. Station Arawaru and a point on the right bank of the Makakahi River in line with the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block XIV, Mangahao Survey District; thence south-easterly along that right line to the said point, to and along the south-western boundaries of the said Section 1 and Section 1A, Block III, Mangaone Survey District, along a right line across Makakahi Road to and along the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block III aforesaid, to the north-western boundary of Section 7, Block III aforesaid; thence north-easterly along that boundary to the south-western boundary of Section 4A, Block III aforesaid; thence generally south-easterly along that boundary, the south-western boundary of Section 33, Block III aforesaid, the south-eastern boundary of that section for a distance of 1886·7 links, a right line bearing 123° 30′ (S.O. Plans 11705 and 12767) to the middle of the Mangaone Stream, up the middle of that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 16, Block IV, Mangaone Survey District, to and along that boundary and its production, to and along the middle of Pa Valley Road to
