of Wellington, Imposed by Memorandum of Acceptance
Under Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 and by

Act 1908

PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends
the memorandum of acceptance K. 36677, Wellington Land
Registry, exempting the northern side of Cleveland Street from
the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928,
and the Orders in Council dated the 1st day of February 1923,
the 22nd day of December 1923, and the 25th day of Septem-
ber 1923, published in Gazettes, 8 February 1923, at page 366,
10 January 1924, at page 26, and 27 September 1923, at page
2509, and registered as No. 1029, 1091, and 1074, Wellington
Land Registry, exempting Cleveland Street from the provisions
of section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908, subject to condi-
tions as to the building lines, by cancelling the said conditions
as to the building lines imposed by the said memorandum of
acceptance and the said Orders in Council in so far as they
affect Lot 1, D.P. 18362 (C.T. 679/75), Lot 2, D.P. 18362,
and Lot 7, D.P. 961 (C.T. 679/76), Lot 1, D.P. 6626 (C.T.
326/21), Lot 2, D.P. 6626 (C.T. 326/269), Lot 1, D.P. 6489
(C.T. 307/256), Lot 2, D.P. 6489 (C.T. 306/248), Lot 1, D.P.
6269 (C.T. 318/102), and Lot 2, D.P. 6269 (C.T. 308/171).

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents

Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Pahiatua Rabbit
    District Order 1963.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Pahiatua Rabbit District, which
    was constituted by Order in Council on the 13th day of May
    1936,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the
    commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said dis-
    trict shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE PAHIATUA RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Pahiatua
Borough and part Ekatahuna and Pahiatua Counties, con-
taining 190,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line com-
mencing at a point in the middle of the Manawatu River in
line with the western boundary of Section 1, Block I, Manga-
hao Survey District, and proceeding generally south-easterly
up the middle of that river to a point in line with the
northern side of a public road forming the northern boun-
daries of Sections 5 and 12, Block I, Makuri Survey District;
thence to and along that side, to and along the northern
boundaries of Section 1, Lot 1, D.P. 1264, and Section 2,
Block II, Makuri Survey District, and the production of the
last-mentioned boundary, to and along the northern bound-
ary of Section 24 and its production, to and along the
northern boundary of Section 51, Block II, Makuri Survey
District, and its production, to and along the northern
boundary of Section 26 and its production, to and along the
northern boundaries of Sections 50 and 27, Block II, and
Sections 1, 2, and 4, Block III, Makuri Survey District, to
the western boundary of the Rabbit Fence; thence generally
south-easterly along that boundary and the generally south-
western boundary of the said Rabbit Fence, along a right
line to and along the southern boundary of the said
Rabbit Fence, to and along the western boundary of
Section 13, Block III, Makuri Survey District, to the north-
western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 4376; thence generally north-
easterly along the generally northern boundary of that lot to
and along the generally southern boundary of the said Rabbit
Fence and its generally eastern boundary, as defined on S.O.
Plan 13324, to the northern boundary of Section 59, Block
XVI, Makuri Survey District; thence easterly along that
boundary and its production to and along the northern
boundary of Section 37, Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey
District, and its production to the eastern side of Mangatoro
Road; thence generally south-easterly along that side to and
along the north-eastern boundary of Section 35, Block XII,
Mount Cerberus Survey District, to and along the northern
side of Towai Road to the summit of the Puketoi Range;
thence generally south-westerly along that summit to Trig.
Station Puketoi and along a right line to the north-eastern
corner of Section 61, Tiraumea District, in Block VIII,
Mangaone Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern
boundary of that section and its production to and along the
western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 18207, to and along the east-
ern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 5274, to a point in line with the
southern boundary of Section 65, Tiraumea District; thence
westerly to and along that boundary and its production to
and generally northerly down the middle of the Tiraumea
River to a point in line with the northern boundary of
Section 175, Rangitumau District, in Block VIII, Mangaone
Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary
and its production to the middle of Pa Valley Road; thence
generally north-westerly along the middle of that road to a
point in line with the southern boundary of Section 16,
Block IV, Mangaone Survey District, to and along that
boundary and its production to and down the middle of the
Mangaone River to a point on a right line bearing 123° 30′
from a point on the south-eastern boundary of Section 33,
Block III, Mangaone Survey District, 1886·7 links from the
southernmost corner of that section, along that line to and
along south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said
Section 33 and the south-western boundary of Section 4A,
Block III aforesaid, to the north-western boundary of Section
7, Block III aforesaid; thence south-westerly along that
boundary to the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block
III aforesaid; thence north-westerly along that boundary and
its production to and along the south-western boundary of
Section 1A, Block III aforesaid, and the south-western boun-
dary of Section 1, Block XIV, Mangahao Survey District,
and its production to a point on the right bank of the
Makakahi River and along a right line between that point
and Trig. Station Arawaru to the middle of the Mangahao
River; thence generally south-westerly up the middle of that
river to a point on a right line between Trig. Stations Nga-
puketurua and Arawaru; thence north-easterly along right
lines to Trig. Stations Arawaru and Marima and to the north-
western corner of Section 9, Block IX, Mangahao Survey
District, along a right line to and along the north-western
boundaries of Section 4, Block V, and Sections 3, 2, and 1,
Block VI, Mangahao Survey District, to the south-western
boundary of Section 13, Block XIX, Mangahao Survey Dis-
trict; thence north-westerly along that boundary to the
generally south-eastern side of Range Road South; thence
generally north-easterly along that side to the Palmerston
North-Pahiatua road, along a right line to and along the
generally south-eastern side of Range Road North and the
road forming the north-western boundaries of Sections 2,
10, and the said Section 2, Block II, Mangahao Survey
