Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid Out in Block XI, Hastings Survey District, Thames County, to be Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 4th day of October 1961, to be road.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 2 roods 35 perches situated in Block XI, Hastings Survey District, being part Te Onepu No.1 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 7713 (M.L. 18530) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of June 1963.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 6th day of December 1962, to be street.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 34 perches situated in the City of Rotorua, being part Waiwherowhero Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 7716 (M.L. 8689) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in the Borough of Manurewa

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 9th day of April 1953, and published in Gazette, 16 April 1953, Vol. I, page 611, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 13781, defining the middle line of a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in the Borough of Manurewa, in so far as it affects part Lot 34, D.P. 49717. Balance certificate of title, Volume 2021, folio 54, North Auckland Land Registry.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1955, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Schedule hereto, and declare that as from the 1st day of July 1963 the land shall be deemed to be vested in Her Majesty as Crown land subject to the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—NASEBY BOROUGH

STREET passing through Section 49 and adjoining Sections 46, 50, and 51, and part Sections 15 and 16, and Crown land, Block II, Town of Naseby: Area, 32·4 perches.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Southland Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of June 1963

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori Freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae and meeting place for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Hauora hapu of the Arawa tribe.
