Declaration That Part of the Matamata Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Matamata Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Birkenhead Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Birkenhead, in trust, for that purpose.

The Standards Act 1941—Draft Amendment to the New Zealand Standard Specification for Glazed Clay Sewer Pipes (N.Z.S.S. 365:1944)

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amendment is being circulated under the reference No. D 7424.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 28 June 1963.

(NOTE—The proposed amendment has the effect of deleting the provisions relating to pipes intended for use with flexible joints. The amendment will become effective upon the issue of the New Zealand standard specification for glazed clay sewer pipes for flexible joints.)
