LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight thousand nine hundred and sixty-six pounds (£8,966) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewerage Loan (No. 4) 1952 (£50,000) which matures on 17 August 1963, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-five four-hundredths of a penny (55/400d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board hereby resolves:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and repayment charges and all other expenses on the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board's Renewal Loan 1963, £24,000, to be raised pursuant to the above-mentioned authority, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one ninety-second parts of one penny (1/92) in the pound on the rateable value (on basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property in the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the aforesaid loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, but not exceeding a period of 10 years.

WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty thousand pounds (£60,000) authorised to be raised by the Whangarei Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of developing the stadium area of Okara Park, the said Whangarei Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·166884d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Whangarei; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

CROISILLES - FRENCH PASS ROAD BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PUBLIC notice is given of the following resolution passed by the Croisilles-French Pass Road Board at a meeting held on 25 May 1963:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the annual charges on the Road Construction Loan 1963, £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Croisilles-French Pass Road Board under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of road construction, the said Croisilles-French Pass Road Board hereby makes a special rate of one-farthing of a penny (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Croisilles-French Pass Road Board area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years (30), or until the loan is fully paid off."

MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Certified copy of resolution making special rate as security for the Mount Albert 1963 Pensioners' Flats Loan of £36,000, passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at an ordinary meeting held on the 14th day of May 1963.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £36,000 known as the Pensioners' Flats Loan 1963, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for aged persons, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought one nine of a penny (0·019d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Given under the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mount Albert this 23rd day of May 1963.

HAVELOCK NORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

CONSOLIDATION OF SPECIAL RATES

"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959, the Havelock North Borough Council hereby resolves by way of special order that instead of levying the special rates specified in the Schedule hereto the Council do make a rate of 5·10084 pence in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis on the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Havelock North; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate and may be levied in whole or in part, year by year, without further proceedings by the Council, and shall be payable yearly in one sum on the 1st day of August in each and every year."

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956, the Counties Amendment Act 1961, and the Public Works Act 1928.

Notice is hereby given that the Manukau County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of a part of a public road in the Parish of Pakuranga; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken as aforesaid is deposited at the office of the Manukau County Council on the corner of Shortland and Princes Streets, Auckland, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during all reasonable hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work
