PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £45,000 authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the provision of sewer reticulation for the district, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point two eight pence in the pound (0·28d. in the pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Papakura, comprising the whole borough; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Dated at Papakura this 15th day of May 1963.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan (No. 1) 1963, £20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·05d. in the pound (decimal zero five pence in the pound) on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Rotorua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Council held on Tuesday, the 14th day of May 1963.

AUCKLAND TRANSPORT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Modernisation and Development Redemption Loan (No. 2) 1963

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Auckland Transport Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £762,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Transport Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repayment of part of the Modernisation and Development Loan 1951, £2,450,000, which matures on the 31st day of July 1963, the said Auckland Transport Board hereby makes a special rate of three-fortieths of one penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property of the Auckland Transport District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of nine years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution is certified as a true and correct extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Auckland Transport Board held on the 15th day of May 1963.

WAIMATE WEST COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1963, £10,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimate West County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorised to be raised by the Waimate West County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing advances under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waimate West County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two six pence (0·026d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Waimate West; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly, the first such payment to be made not later than six months after the date of payment of the first instalment and subsequently in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Titirangi and Waikumete "A" Sewerage Loan 1962, £303,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £303,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council for the purpose of the sewer reticulation of that portion of the Titirangi County Town included within the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board and the Titirangi Riding Urban Drainage Area, and that portion of the Waikumete Riding Urban Drainage Area designated "A" by special order dated 7th August 1962, together with all costs incidental thereto, the Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 5·892d. in the pound (£) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the said portions of the Titirangi County Town and the said urban drainage areas; and it further resolves that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on the 30th day of April 1963.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waikumete "B" and Waipareira "A" Sewerage Loan 1962, £157,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £157,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council for the purpose of reticulating for sewerage that portion of the Waikumete Riding Urban Drainage Area designated "B" and that portion of the Waipareira Riding Urban Drainage Area designated "A" by special order dated 7 August 1962, together with all costs incidental thereto, the Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 6·788d. in the pound (£) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the said portions of the said urban drainage areas; and it further resolves that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on the 30th day of April 1963.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Depot Loan 1963, £150,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£150,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of constructing a depot, including workshops, garage, stores, office, and ancillary works, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and two hundred and twenty-three thousandths of a penny (1·223d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 22nd April 1963.
