In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Credit Management Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company was, on the 15th day of May 1963, presented to the said Court by Dorothy Olive Muriel Hawkins; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on Friday, the 31st day of May 1963, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of the order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for same.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Commerce Building Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Wellington and carrying on business as a property owner.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 7th day of May 1963, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £124,000 to £96,100, and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 15th day of May 1963.

The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of Commerce Building Ltd. is £96,100 divided into 124,000 fully paid ordinary shares of fifteen shillings and six pence (15s. 6d.) each, having been reduced from £124,000 divided into 124,000 ordinary shares of £1 each paid up to fifteen shillings and six pence (15s. 6d.).”

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Gulcraft Industries Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by an entry in its minute book signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company on the 17th day of May 1963 passed a resolution that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily. A meeting of creditors will be held at the offices of Messrs Brace, Davey, and Taylor, Public Accountants, A.M.P. Chambers, Broadway, Palmerston North, on Monday, the 27th day of May 1963, at 10 a.m.

Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 28th day of March 1963, confirming the reduction of the share capital of the above-named company from £10,000 to £100, and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 14th day of May 1963. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of W. V. Bremner Ltd. is £100 divided into 100 fully paid ordinary shares of £1 each, having been reduced from £10,000 divided into 10,000 ordinary shares of £1 fully paid.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND

PURSUANT to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, Aveling-Barford Ltd., of Invicta Works, Grantham, England, hereby gives notice of its intention to cease to have a place of business in New Zealand after the 31st day of July 1963. Aveling-Barford (N.Z.) Ltd. will carry on business in its place and stead.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £16,600, to be known as the Aged Persons’ Flats Loan (No. 3) 1962, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for aged persons, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five one hundred and twenty-eighths of a penny (5/128d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Nelson, comprising the whole of the said city; and such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until such loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council Chamber, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 22nd day of April 1963.

WAIROA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Reticulation Renewal Loan 1963, £11,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairoa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and principal repayments on the said loan of £11,800 the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal four five of a penny (0·45d.) in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Wairoa; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or such shorter period as may be determined by the Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wairoa Borough Council held on the 17th day of April 1963.
