NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR RIVER PROTECTION WORKS

NOTICE is hereby given by the Otorohanga Borough Council that it is proposed to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, the under-mentioned pieces of land for river protection works.

And notice is hereby given that a plan showing the said pieces of land is on view and open to inspection at the office of the Council, at the address set out below, during ordinary business hours.

And notice is further given that all persons affected by the taking of these pieces of land for river protection work who have any well-grounded objections should set forth the same in writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Otorohanga Borough Council, Council Chambers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

SCHEDULE

(a) 1 acre 3 roods 23 perches, being Section 1, Block XIV, Otorohanga Maori Township, and being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 435, folio 96 (Auckland South Registry).

(b) 2 acres 2 roods 33·1 perches, being Allotment 2, Block VIII, Otorohanga Maori Township, and being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 435, folio 26 (Auckland South Registry).

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
——

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments, and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a road passing through or adjoining the parcels of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder and situated in the Kaukapakapa Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council situated in the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons having any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, and wishing them to be considered, must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely for a street at Sutherland Road in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Office Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

And that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
