OTAGO CATCHMENT BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amend-
ments, and in the matter of the Soil Conservation and
Rivers Control Act 1941 and its amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Otago Catchment Board
intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act
1941, those parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto
for the purpose of erecting a floodbank for river control and
other incidental works.

The plan of the said land is deposited at the South Division
Office of the Otago Catchment Board, Hasborough Place,
Balclutha, and is there open for inspection by all persons
during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land are hereby required
and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or the
taking of the said land, and to send such in writing, within
forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Secretary, Otago Catchment Board, 725 George Street,
Dunedin.

BOROUGH OF TUAKAU

RAISING A REPAYMENT LOAN UNDER SECTION 42 OF THE
LOCAL AUTHORITIES LOANS ACT 1956

Redemption Loan (No. 1) 1963, £7,173

WHEREAS the sum of £12,000 borrowed by the Tuakau Borough
Council for water supply purposes is due and payable on the
15th day of June 1963; and whereas the principal repayments
of the said loan amount only to £4,827 and the sum of £7,173
is required to pay off the said loan:

Now, therefore, the Tuakau Borough Council, in exercise
of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authori-
ties Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

“First, to borrow the said sum of £7,173 for the purpose of
paying off the said loan.

“Second, that the said sum of £7,173 shall be payable on
the 15th day of June 1963 or such earlier date as may be
determined by the Council.

“Third, that, for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the said loan of £7,173, the said
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal
eight nine pence (0·89d.) in the pound upon the unimproved
value of all rateable property in the Borough of Tuakau;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly
on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10
years or such shorter period as may be determined by the
Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Certified that the above is a true and correct copy of a
resolution passed by the Tuakau Borough Council on 1 May
1963.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to stop the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

A plan of the portion of road proposed to be stopped is
open for public inspection at the office of the Raglan County
Council, Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, during 40 days
from the date of the first publication of this notice. All
persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections
in writing at the office of the Council on or before the 17th
day of June 1963.

ADMINISTRATION ACT

In the matter of the Administration Act 1952 and in the
matter of the estate of William Tyson Stoddart, late of
113 Blighs Road, builder, now deceased.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of the
Dominion of New Zealand on the 29th day of April 1963,
pursuant to the powers in that behalf conferred upon him by
section 72 of the above-mentioned Act, filed a certificate in
the Supreme Court at Christchurch electing to administer
the above estate under Part IV of the said Act, and that the
said estate will as from the said date be administered, realised,
and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of
bankruptcy.

Notice is further given that I do hereby summon a meeting
of creditors of the above estate to be held at the Public Trust
Office, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, on the 9th day of May
1963, at 2 p.m.

Notice is finally given that all creditors, whether they have
already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove
their debts within the time and in the manner provided by
the Bankruptcy Act 1908. Proof-of-debt forms may be pro-
cured at the Public Trust Office, Christchurch.

TUAKAU BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Changes of Borough of Tuakau
District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Tuakau Borough Council, changes of the Tuakau
District Scheme have been recommended for approval under
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The changes
relate to the areas and matter set forth in the Schedule to
this notice. Plans, etc., showing the changes of the scheme
have been deposited in the Council office, 70 George Street,
Tuakau, also with the District Land Registrar, Auckland, in
accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act, and are there
open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested
therein at any time when the above offices are open to the
public.

Objections to the changes of the scheme or to any part
thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First
Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, and lodged at the office of the Council at any time
not later than the 24th day of June 1963.

At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objection if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the
period of which public notice will be given.
