Declaring Road in Block I, Paritu Survey District, to be Government Road and Previous Order in Council Revoked as to Part

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 29th day of April 1963
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road, and also revokes the Order in Council dated the 13th day of December 1961, and published in Gazette, 21 December 1961, Volume III, page 1963, in so far as it affects the portion of road twelfthly described in the said Order in Council.

SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL those portions of road situated in Block I, Paritu Survey District, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 0·6 Maraetaha 1B Block.
0 0 1·3 Maraetaha 1c Block.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4416 (S.O. 5165) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation as a marae site for the common use and benefit of the people of the Ngapuhi tribe.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a village site and meeting place, to be called the “Mangatoatoa Pa”, and to be held for the common use and benefit of all Maoris.
