Authorising the Department of Education to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Waimarino

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 29th day of April 1963
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Department of Education (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, and the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

DURATION OF LICENCE
4. Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1984.

SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described commencing from the licensee's powerhouse on Section 3, Block V, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction generally across the Pipiriki-Raetihi road; thence to a residence situated on Section 8, Block X. All being situated in the Rarete Survey District in the County of Waimarino, the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 605 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Adding Lands to Nelson Lakes National Park and Excluding Lands Therefrom

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto shall as from the date hereof be added to and form part of the Nelson Lakes National Park, and such lands shall hereafter be subject to the provisions of the said Act, and, further, hereby declares that the lands described in the Third Schedule hereto shall as from the aforesaid date be excluded from the said park.

FIRST SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
Permanent State Forest Land Added to Nelson Lakes National Park
PERMANENT State forest situated in Block IV, Arnaud Survey District, being all the land coloured yellow on Survey Office Plan 10333: Area, 2,090 acres, more or less. Also permanent State forest situated in Block III, Arnaud Survey District, being all the land coloured orange on Survey Office Plan 10333: Area, 12 acres, more or less. Together with the beds and waters of all internal streams, rivers, lakes, lagoons, and pools.

SECOND SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
Crown Land Added to Nelson Lakes National Park
CROWN land situated in Block IV, Arnaud Survey District, being all the land coloured sepia on Survey Office Plan 10333: Area, 35 acres, more or less. Together with the beds and waters of all internal streams, rivers, lakes, lagoons, and pools.

THIRD SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
Lands Excluded from Nelson Lakes National Park and Declared to be Crown Land
NELSON Lakes National Park situated in Block IV, Arnaud Survey District, being all the land coloured red on Survey Office Plan 10333: Area, 8 acres, more or less. Also Nelson Lakes National Park situated in Block III, Arnaud Survey District, being all the land coloured purple on Survey Office Plan 10333: Area, 8 acres, more or less. Also Nelson Lakes National Park situated in Blocks III and VII, Arnaud Survey District, being all the land coloured green on Survey Office Plan 10333: Area, 830 acres, more or less.

As shown also on the plan marked L. and S. 4/1081c deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon coloured as stated.

Declaring the Owaka and the Catlins Rabbit Districts to be United to Form the Owaka Rabbit Board (Notice No. Ag. 7758)

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that on and from the 30th day of April 1963 the Owaka Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 27th day of October 1954,* and the Catlins Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 21st day of April 1954,† shall be united and shall form one district having the name of the Owaka Rabbit District, the boundaries of which shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the basis on which the Rabbit Board for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of land occupied by the ratepayer.

BOUNDARIES OF THE OWAKA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Clutha County, containing 131,800 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Block X, Rimu
