PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in roadways laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 18th day of December 1956, to be road.
