PORIRUA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Porirua Community Hall Extension Loan 1963, £15,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Porirua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Porirua Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and completing the hall under construction and meeting expenses incidental thereto, the said Porirua Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·132d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Porirua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Porirua Borough Council held on 17 April 1963.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan (No. 5) 1962, £30,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Southland County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £30,000 (thirty thousand pounds) authorised to be raised by the Southland County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Southland County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·025d. (0·025 of a penny) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the district, comprising the whole of the County of Southland; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August of each and every year until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was duly passed by the Southland County Council at a meeting of the said Council held on the 10th day of April 1963.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928
Notice is hereby given, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, that the Whangarei County Council proposes, under the provisions of the said Act, to take the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the pieces of land required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said Council, situated in Rose Street, Whangarei, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the taking of such land who have any well grounded objections to the taking of the said lands must lodge their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days, from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, Whangarei County Council, Rose Street, Whangarei.

BOROUGH OF MOUNT EDEN
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928,
Notice is hereby given that the Mount Eden Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the erection of pensioners' flats at Parau Street in the Borough of Mount Eden; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a description of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Valley Road, Mount Eden, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Valley Road, Mount Eden.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing 2 roods 5·5 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Mount Eden, being Lot 4 on Deposited Plan 20296 and being portion of Allotment 115, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland, and all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 852, folio 82, Auckland Registry, situate and known as 72 Parau Street.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, and Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective Amendments.
Notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for a street at Sefton Street in the City of Wellington; and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send that writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his office.

Thirdly, twenty-four one-hundredths perches (00·24 perches), more or less, being part of Section 1, Harbour District, being part of Lot 102 on deposited Plan No. 2644, and being the land more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 25260, and thereon coloured blue.
