THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
No. 24

Featherston County and for the purposes of that public work
the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be
taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office
of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal
Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city and is there
open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of
the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if
they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the
said public work or the taking of the said land, set forth
the same in writing and send that writing, within 40 days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City
Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land situate in the Featherston County
containing by admeasurement:

First, eight acres one rood twenty-three perches (8a. 1r.
23p.), more or less, being part of Section 527, Featherston
Suburban, being the land also shown on S.O. Plan 25334, and
thereon coloured orange.

Secondly, four acres two roods eighteen perches (4a, 2r.
18p.), more or less, being part of Section 527, Featherston
Suburban, being the land also shown on S.O. Plan 25334, and
thereon coloured orange.

Dated at Wellington this 17th day of April 1963.

ADVERTISEMENT OF CANCELLING

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies
has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909,
by writing under his hand this 18th day of April 1963, can-
celled the registry of Waimamaku Valley Lodge, No. 102,
held at Waimamaku, Wildey Lodge, No. 107, held at Wellin-
ton, and Levin Lodge, No. 132, held at Levin (Register Nos.
146/151, 146/141, and 146/192), of the Independent Order of
Odd Fellows of New Zealand, Friendly Society, on the
ground that the said branches have ceased to exist.

the Turi Rebekah Lodge No. 105, with registered office at

Odd Fellows of New Zealand Friendly Society under the
Friendly Societies Act 1909.

ONE TREE HILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of the One Tree Hill District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that a change of the
district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act
1953 for the One Tree Hill Borough in the areas and matters
set forth in the Schedule to this notice was approved by the
One Tree Hill Borough Council by resolution passed at its
meeting held on the 16th day of April 1963 after all objec-
tions, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the change of
scheme have been disposed of and the change of scheme
had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals
allowed.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come
into operation on the 1st day of May 1963.

Copies of the change of scheme as approved and the scheme
itself as amended by the change have been deposited in the
Council’s office and may be inspected, without fee, by any
person who so requires at any time when the office is open
to the public.

Corner, Penrose.

the first insertion and 6d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertions.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of

35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)
