NEW LYNN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Notice is given that the following resolution was passed at a
meeting of the New Lynn Borough Council held on the 10th
day of April 1963:
"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in
it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
the New Lynn Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges
on a loan of £11,000 authorised to be raised by the New
Lynn Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of erecting accommodation for aged persons, the
said New Lynn Borough Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of decimal nought six five pence (0·065d.) in the
pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of
New Lynn; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
on the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years,
or until such loan is fully paid off."

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, the
Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments, and
regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto
enabling it, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves
as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of eighty-five thousand pounds (£85,000) authorised
to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the
above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of reticulating for
water the Waikanae County Town and providing a water
storage reservoir, the said Horowhenua County Council
hereby makes a special rate of one penny farthing (1¼d.) in
the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Waikanae
County Town; and that the special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid
off."
